If the new promo is anything to go by Imlie will ask Adi not to reveal the truth about their marriage to the family at least until he gets divorced from Didi & she gets married with her Mr. India. But that doesn't mean they themselves won't be together as a couple ateast chup chup ke. Then only toh we can have the drama of the T family getting more suspicious about them having an affair, accusing them of the same & then Adi gusse main blurting out the truth.

Truth reveal to T family is not going to be without the drama because of their Didi bhakti, opposition to their divorce itself & their suspicions about Adi-Imlie having an affair. Dementor Didi ko bhi toh side main apne tamashe karne honge. So if they want to navigate all this then they have to give saath to each other & be a unit.

Dunno, Lodestar. I will need to see it to believe it. Mujhe toh nahin dikh rahe koi signs so far of Adi-Imlie managing to have interactions dhang se aapas mein beyond discussing Didi ka ghar basaana.....

She knew before also that he loves her and she loves him, still she kept pushing him away na? lol all she needs is another lame excuse to doubt him again and uske basis pe banaa legi problem....since they seem to spin up Imlie's doubts out of thin air these days anyways. 🤔.....Imlie herself sets ajeeb parameters of what level of saath they are allowed to show in their relationship so I am braced for them showing her more moronic aage bhi.

I wouldn't have been this skeptical if they had resolved this Dhokebaaz MU in a better manner...but uska koi dhang se follow up kiye bagair bhi aage all convos seem fixated only on Didi ko samjho ya humein khush rehne ka haq nahin....lol toh is sab mein ghanta chup chup ke moments😆....you need some basic understanding as a couple aapas mein for that....Imlie is not interested even in giving that much bare minimum to Adi after accusing him of not having been there for her....lol

She seems to have gotten so used to carrying only her OWN vishwaas/faith in life all this time, it's like she doesn't know how to trust anyone else for real....not even the guy she claims now is her everything😕.

Imlie's faith was the most beautiful part of her characterization to me....but they've diluted it all so much now sadly....how ironic that Adi was praising Imlie's faith in his confession to SK-Mithi and we as the audience are barely shown that faith anymore these days.....no faith in her Babusahib, no faith in her rishta with her Babusahib....bas guilt/reluctance hi hoti hai Imlie ke face pe all the time. Pehle there used to be the serenity of faith....now it's just mopeyness.....so will that ever get rebuilt or that faith waali serenity is gone from Imlie's personality for good now?😕

@bold 3: Her faithlessness is dragging her and the story down IMO. There needs to be some kind of evolution in her beyond sacrificing for others khushi, which is fine. But there needs to be a balance. Always being mopey, sacrificing, faithlessness...overall she’s being pulled down by all this.

They can't show Imlie wanting to have it all her way.....she herself stops Adi from getting expressive with her and then gets insecure if he backs off in frustration.....and then doesn't even allow him to tell everyone about their marriage to have the clear justification to express his emotions for her. So it's like she's trapping Adi from all sides😕.....what is a person to do in this situation?

Adi-Imlie's relationship is supposed to be about being the wind beneath each other's wings....if they show Imlie being like this with Adi, then isn't that just another kind of suffocation? Where is the understanding and support that should set this relationship apart? If Imlie is confused in her naivete, atleast show Adi recognizing and addressing that dhang se.....but woh bhi nahin hota...we just keep circling the drain🤔.

They don't even show the bare minimum assurance scenes between Adi-Imlie to help rebuild Imlie's faith and confidence....instead we must show more fixation on Didi ka ghar basaana....😕....it's making me feel disconnected.

I think we can all agree that this BS is dhokebaaz was a contrived mu added I think only so that Adi can do some sacrifice drama for 2 mins😆. Warna us mu ke bina be Imlie could have decided to leave for PD due to AC's abuse & fear of T family finding out the truth. But yes it has made Imlie's character wishy washy.

Ab with Dementor Didi knowing the truth & agreeing for divorce & Adi not willing to step back, Imlie's primary reason for not accepting their rishta has become moot. She may not believe that Didi loves someone else but the cat is out of the bag. So ideally Imlie should accept their rishta in between themselves at least. She can still be worried about Didi & family but at least she needs to do this much for their own love & relationship. If she still doesn't then it is better if she really separates from Adi & goes on her own because I can't tolerate her not allowing herself to be with BS even after this🥱.

What Imlie needs is something else to do besides worry for Dementor Didi. Maybe some happiness via SK-Meethi marriage but I don't think they plan to have this track now in Hyderabad because that would be an extended PD track. There is no reason for them to get married in shehar when their entire life is in PD.

Maybe they can do something with the Nishant cancer track but that is again a sickness & depression wala track. But maybe we can get some Adi-Imlie relationship evolution with Imlie supporting him. But I want to see them smiling & laughing together. I can't remember when they khulke laughed together after doing some masti since the initial days of return from the last PD trip. Suggest some ideas if you have for them to have a look lighter atmosphere bonding because abhi toh T house main maatam chaya hua hai😒

Let's see how the story shapes up in the next few epis.

@ bold 1: I think they are just towing the line here... hiding behind Adi giving her choice to deflect from showing Adi calling her out as he should. A person shooting themselves in the foot is also a choice, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be called out on it. Imlie is inviting accusations & taunts from everyone with this. Not allowing Adi to reveal the truth will just make everyone accuse them of having an affair no?😕

@bold 2: I got so excited today when he said his saath dena dialogue, hoping for some convo. But didn’t happen again.😆 I think they need to shift now from sach baatana (to family) and Didi related talks please. There’s so many other things to talk about. It’s clear that he won’t be able to tell the truth to his family for now, so please talk about your relationship. Talk about how you are going to overcome the obstacles, talk about supporting each other.

Matlab koi toh ek dynamic functioning dikhaa do. When Adi hadn't accepted his marriage with Imlie, she still atleast had all the Ts to interact with and build bonds with. Right now even though Adi has accepted his marriage with Imlie, it feels like Adi-Imlie ka bhi koi real support nahin aapas mein and Ts ke saath bhi Imlie ka sab kuch khatam hai....toh if there is no bonding from either side, what are they all going to interact over? Just talking about Didi ka divorce ya Didi ki shaadi all day?😕

I'd thought they would go with the contrast that atleast Adi-Imlie can support each other even if the whole family is against them....but Imlie is least interested in even doing that bare minimum....then what's the point I wonder. Didi bhakti karne se koi nahin rok raha but who says you can't even give basic support to the husband you claim is your everything?😕

Guessing you did not like the promo at all? 😆 I was resigned to this jarring characterization as soon as they glossed over whatever that dhokebaaz thing was and directly jumped to Imlie thinking I know Malini better

I think all this circles back to their refusal to want to touch anything Aditya Imlie beyond the cursory stuff before the divorce with Malini including not making them a unit.

With Imlie wanting to make Malini’s life better, Malini will want to one-up which means we probably get whoever that Kunal is going to be. She also said yesterday, why is Imlie coming in between my family referring to the Cs which means we will get some build-up to the sister truth reveal.

I doubt Imlie will hold him off from expressing to her how he feels. This is the only difference between the pre-burial Imlie and the upcoming one. Everything else is going to be pretty much status quo considering they need to go back to giving didi footage. Nishant aur uski useless storyline bhi toh hai.

Until something else drastic happens, Imlie is not going to give Aditya the weight a partner holds in the equation. She’s going to be happy being in the grind of getting taunted by Aparna and co for the next 50 episodes.

So they continue to malign Aditya and Imlie's relationship.. how that helps them to win back family? Imlie who always was on forefront to get everyone on same page now is just sulking and drowning in guilt..😳

Aditya achieved nothing my telling truth to Malini as her fake boyfriend needs to personify to get aditya imlies relationship moving.

Sundar was right when he said "Imlie ne sab ka kaam apna kaam bana rakha hai"

i just dont get what would Imlie do if there was no one in Malini's life.. They would wait iternity to start their life till didi is settled?

Also does this mean malini is back to T house as divorce is not yet finalized... 🤔

Imlie needs to stop taking decisions for her and Adityas relationship.. they need to do things togther else whats the difference between this and the failed one we all just witnessed..

LOL define "drastic".....something drastic literally JUST happened with Adi being buried alive, and Imlie STILL walked away from him, didn't she?😆......so there is no real sense of what it would take for Imlie to give Aditya support as a partner even if she doesn't want to reveal the marriage truth cuz of the family yet. She's just moving around in a haze without thinking things through and manages to stump Adi with "Didi ka hidden dard" related dastaans now also😆

I will need to see it to believe it ki there will be even a marginal difference in Imlie now vis a vis allowing Adi to express his emotions for her with the Didi truth reveal out of the way....since they mishandled the closure of the "dhokebaaz" loop and they haven't shown Adi-Imlie addressing why they did the whole Goodbye nautanki, it's making this look disjointed.

It's worth noting that Adi again said to Imlie ki hum jaante hain ki tum chahti ho hum tumse door rahein and Imlie still hasn't bothered correcting that bare minimum with a "Nahin, yeh sach nahin hai"😆......all the time in the world to discuss Didi ka imaginary BF but itna nahin bol sakti ki nahin, I don't want to you to go away from me😆.

As I was saying in another post....Imlie has all the time in the world to talk about anything other than giving Adi the bare minimum clarification that no, she does not want him to go away from her....woh bechara baar baar yeh point raise karta hai and she either doesn't say anything in response or she starts the usual, "gharwaalon ko hurt nahin kar sakte" raag.....lol ghar nahin basaana, mat basaao....family waalon ke upar rona hai, shauk se ro lo....but why still let him keep on thinking you want him to stay away from you? 😕......How is that fair after you yourself did so much rona-dhona over thinking he abandoned you? But when it comes to him, he should just be allowed to think you've spurned him and that's all well and good?

Yes, there are many other things to talk about if only the writers cared.....Wayyy back when Adi had come to take her back from the hostel, he had said they need to talk about their rishta and she needs to confess her feelings for him.....lol it's been two months and literally nothing has changed😆....she is still yet to find time or interest in talking about their rishta or confess her feelings to him.....lol baaki sab ko dhol peet liya hai about her love for babusahib.....bas babusahib ko abhi bhi presume karne do you want him to stay away from you😕😆....I don't get how admitting that bare minimum will go against her "main ghar nahin basaungi" vow😕....apne pati ko bas emotionally support karne mein bhi ghar bas jaayega kya?😆

They are making it look like for all her grand vows of suhaag ke vaaste, rishte mein vishwaas, Imlie actually seems very reluctant to have to nibhaao the rishta WITH someone than by herself in her head😆.

Sorta felt whiplashed with the new promo 😆 Bandha khud bolne ko taiyaar hora h par didi ka dard is prime concern. Unless didi came from a different planet then its somewhat comprehensible 🤣, par dunno so jalebi khalete h aside from 🍭 , I guess after decent lot of episodes.
