Adi's candid confessions and clarifications

Today was a clarifications filled episode on the Adi-Imlie front😆......

First up was the clarification that Adi has told Malini the whole truth and she knows he loves Imlie.....this was enough for Imlie's "Babusahib dhokebaaz hain" MU to be cleared it seems😆.....Adi ne ekdum straightforward bol diya with Mithi-SK as witnesses toh Imlie ko shaayad finally vishwaas ho gaya ki sach hai😆

Then Imlie resumed her attempt to tie a raksha dhaaga on Adi's hand😆.....this brought about a bit of banter between them after many days of heavy scenes.....lol. Adi questions why she thinks these dhaagas can protect anyone so Imlie chides him about his useless driving skills again😆.....and proclaims that her, her vishwaas and her Sita Maiyya are all very strong😆.....they also managed to get in a little "Jhalli.....Sheheri Langoor" moment....but it was bittersweet as Imlie's smile faltered almost instantly in guilt and she said she feels she doesn't have the right to be happy.....Aww@ the way Adi tilted his head and said, "Imlie" in exasperation. Finally Imlie asked for more details about Didi ka reaction to the revelation.....lol....Adi ne baaton baaton mein bataa diya that she did accept the truth and that she has someone else in her life😆. Imlie as expected is unwilling to believe Didi can be obsessed with anyone else other than Adi😆.....she tells Adi this is a made up story....lol but Adi pushes back saying ki why can't it be true that Malini's life could be changed by someone else just like his has been changed by Imlie?😆.....In their own ways, both Adi-Imlie continue to be naive about Malini.....lol ....Adi by presuming that Malini can't be this twisted to make up something like this and Imlie by presuming ki Didi ka pyar saccha hai.....lol they are both wrong about Didi but I doubt they will ever learn.....lage rahein😆

Now apparently two days have passed with Adi being at that lodge....lol we learn this through him calling his mom to let her know he's fine but he lies that he's in PD😆.....Aparna predictably gets upset on hearing he's with Imlie and taunts him for not asking about Malini😆....Adi makes a token inquiry ki haan woh kaisi hai (least interested😆)....but his mom slams the phone on him.....lol seriously Adi did you really expect her to care after everything?😆

The good bits to come out of this scene though was Adi's focus on the larger picture.....telling Imlie it's high time she daaloes aadat of calling Aparna Maa instead of Chhoti Kaaki😆.....and that it's high time they move forward with their lives and the fact that he's her husband, that's her sasural.....she can't just sit and wallow in misery....he also states that it's time to nibhaao this rishta saath mein now and he can't understand why she can't give his saath....to which Imlie replies that she is not scared of giving his saath😆....but she still can't get over the fact that they would be hurting their apne. This segues into Adi thinking about another set of apne - his Amma and SK....asking Imlie to bring them over so that he can talk to them candidly to give them the fully history of what happened....things that even Imlie may not know yet.

And this is where we transition into the best scene of the episode today.....such a wonderfully candid conversation between Adi, Amma, SK with Imlie standing watchfully in the background. Adi once again recapped his whole journey to give them context for why he did what he did.....explaining his relationship with Malini and how things changed with the PD forced marriage....explaining the beating his pride and self-respect took as a man over what happened....and how he took it all out on Imlie....he didn't varnish anything.....told them everything from how he did leave Imlie behind at the NGO and didn't have the courage to tell the truth when he brought her home....how Imlie took it upon herself to spare him any humiliation so she bore it all by lowering her status to that of a maid. The amazing thing about this scene is that even as Adi is talking to Mithi and SK, his eyes are on Imlie in the background for much of this recounting as if he wants her to know all this firsthand from him again....like he said, "aap sab log mere baare mein jaante hain par main chahta hoon aap mujhe bhi jaan lein"....he wanted them to know not just ABOUT him, but to know HIM overall.

Interesting new things were him talking about how his guroor was jhoota....false pride😆....that is what he was trying to maintain for a long time by trying to put down Imlie as the symbol of the hit to his self-respect/pride.....he also marveled over the fact that despite everything he put her through, Imlie never hated him for it - something he would expect anyone in her place to feel....instead she just kept doing good for him and his family. Then he even went the distance of explaining he isn't even able to tolerate the idea of another man with Imlie while Imlie spent so long seeing him with someone else, giving her rights as a wife to someone else.

Also loved that bit in the end where he's like Imlie ne humse kabhi kuch nahin maanga aur badle mein humein bahut kuch diya...."Himmat....honsla....mauka....maafi".

Would have loved to see the scene continue but they transitioned to Loservedis crap so I promptly forwarded the rest😛. Hope to see the rest of the scene continued in tomorrow's epi.

I guess Didi has initiated some divorce talk with some lawyer uncle of hers so the Cs are chhatpataaoing about that...mehh....

Precap mein behen milaap....hey Sita Maiyya humka maaf karo😆.....Didi chali PD but Imaliya Dilli mein hi mil gayi.....lol PD waale got a reprieve from having to face Didi ka prakop....lucky them and not so lucky us😆

I guess the remaining Adi-Imlie convo will also be shown tomorrow with him vowing that his family's soch has to change.

Every time someone starts caring about Imlie, Malini oscillates to the extreme. That shift of attention is all that has ever mattered to Malini. Calling out Dev for being spineless was good but the basis of all her actions is just one thing - someone liking Imlie more than her. That divorce is going to go as well as her flaky mind.

Imlie is very astute where knowing Malini is concerned which means Aditya has his work cut out for the near future. Imlie will always find a reason to keep him at bay because the burden of guilt is always going to overwhelm her, that of having kept the truth from family, that of taking Malini’s place.

The best part of the episode was obviously Aditya’s narrative - Mithi and SK have always known of him but never known him. He brought down that parda today. In the most stark manner that only he can. The wedding was always about the humiliation it caused him. Imlie was just the constant reminder.

To be able to watch such honesty onscreen is refreshing. Honesty that will liberate Aditya by the end of it. Atleast to the extent of two people who mattered to Imlie the most.

So much CLASS and dignity I cannot so much respect

I have no memory in recent times of seeeing a man being so candid about his behavior about his journey being so raw so honest and most of all acknowledging every bit of suffering without anyone nudging him to do so.

I absolutly loved his apne hai mere and apnon se kya chupana the way he really unraveled everything and presented himself as an open book to the 2 people he thought he owned the explanation... the whole thing was my fav but ofcourse humara sach sirf hum bata sakte hain his candidates in opening like that saying every little thing that had made him react like this.. matlab yahan tak maan gaya how ot was a hit at his mardangi/ male ego wow and that too sooo simply .. it was all necessarily for him to vocalize to let 8t out of his system so they can start afresh it was much needed that all of them are on same page that he let's go of all the guilt that has been holding him back so far... to be free to be able to actually start afresh without the baggage to not have any kadwahat in kisi ka bhi dil and what was marvelous was even in all this the simple amazement and awwe at imlie how she is beyond any other human and how her maaf karne ki abilities amaze him matlab he was soo soo touched by how she does that adi will never stop being moved by that every quality of hers how she never complained as he said that was the most taajub ki baat for him that she kept showering him with more love more understanding in return .. just the gratitude he had in it.. such a lovely amalgamation of bohat sare emotions this scene was..it is hard to put in words how much it touched my heart and I actually teared up at how well come written and conceptualized it was.

What stood out even more to me was how the 4 were a true unit a perfect picture of family they maybe 4 humans in the room but so so deeply connected by the emotions all of them feeling the collective pain for different reasons while reminiscing the whole journey. As you guys say that visceral connect was soooooo obvious and today it was not just of 2 people but 4 people.. i I at loss of words how amazing this had been. The best part was none of it was thrown in for the token proposes.. whoever wrote it did a wonderful job and special kudos to GM for delivering it so so so well and the other 3 . Aditya is pure CLASS and there is no one like him on ITV not had been in last decade atleast and am proud of him

Coming to the other scenes I was so happy adi told inlie straight ke it is high time she stops worrying for others and khud ke liye Jeena seekhe she has everything going for her now and they can't be in limbo anymore he isn't just ready and he wants tk spend a happy life with her and he wants her to wake up and smell the coffee too.. i loved the whole saath chalne ke liye taayar hain am your husband you my wife enough is enough and imlie ka candid she is afraid to hurt people in process. Sigh as frustrating as it is..it is typical imlie.. she still has a long way to go before learning this very thing that hurt is guaranteed nobody can be totally hurtfree it is part of life you may be deliberately not causing it but people get hurt all the time.. I guess that goes with her masoomiyat and how naive she really is poor girl. Jhalli for real.. I just want her to cheer up now and stop living in this I have no right to be happy caz no darling you do

Really enjoyed the reboot of shehri langoor and jhalli and the little bit if banter it was much needed but I wish imlie was not so half hearted in her tries there hahah at her not believing ke didi could have a an affair but I would leave that out caz mujhe mood kharab nahi karna I still liked all the adi imlie interactions and I am hoping to see a lively continuation and hopefully a slightly less depressed imlie.. come on girl ab toh tumhara shak bhi Door ho gaya you are very much needed and wanted by babusahib..plz come out of this depression

Loved loved that Jhalli and Shehri langoor are back and the convo with Meethi and SK was just now this is called COMMUNICATION SK and Meethi are so patient in hearing out Adi- Aparna please learn something from them.. can’t wait for the rest of the conversation tomorrow.

My take on the precap- didi sees Imilie at the bus stop and realizes she is not in PD.. and that means Adi lied to the family again- so she won’t go to PD- she will go back and cry at home

Also wanted to add - it’s good that Adi is firm in his resolve - imlie will need constant reassurance from him and Meethi SK to get over this guilt of hurting the family. And after the conversation tomorrow, the three of them will make sure of it

The sincerity in his confession was where the heart lied in tbh. Much kudos to Adi with the respect he bore in mind to open up. Like a weight has been taken off his shoulders by confessing

Aditya , Imlie SK aur mitthi ke alawa kisi aur ki baat karne ka man hi hai..

That scene was just fantastically directed and inacted.. I am so proud of the man Aditya Kumar Tripathi is.. I will give 100% marks to Apus parvarish here.. 👏

I forwarded that scene for my sanity😆.....but sounds like she knows that her mom literally hit Imlie? Is she going to use that as an excuse to justify why she's bringing Imlie back to T house? To "atone" for her mom's sins? 😆

Adi is in a league of his own when it comes to having the courage to admit his flaws.....can you imagine telling your own FIL-MIL that you gave the rights of a wife to someone else over their daughter?😆.....but Adi didn't hold back from that either.....and all this just grew his respect in the eyes of people like SK I think who value seedhi saaf baat more than anything else.....loved the way SK even told Adi ki apno se dil khol ke baat karna chahiye👏......what a polar opposite of the way Ts handle communication in their family😆....wahaan dil khol ke baatein karne ka rivaaz hi nahin....bas tow the line😆

LOL Didi bus stop se hi palat jaayegi ghar jaake rone ko?😆.....I thought she will use that opportunity to play mahaan and take Imlie back to the house....but I guess usmein abhi build up maarenge😆

As for Adi's resolve....yes he will have to be firm regarding that cuz Imlie continues to feel she doesn't have the right to be happy since others are upset with them.....I wish something shifts in the story to give Imlie atleast somewhat of a light interlude from all this mopeyness....kuch toh interim situation create karein for us to get glimpses of chirpy Imaliya for a bit.

Mithi is almost like a benchmark. Of what qualities a woman should encompass of. Everyone makes mistakes, she did too of falling in love. And she paid for it for 2 decades.

She bore a lovechild alone, faced her community independently working her way through the humiliation, inculcated values in her daughter that make a human being worthy of facing the world and can still be clear-headed when it comes to seeing the virtues in another person who put her daughter through misery. She has always seen the goodness that is a part of Aditya. Today when he revealed the not so good parts, only her strength could pull her through the narration.

Accountability is easy when the person who has to forgive you comes to you with no pre-conceived notions. That is what Mithi afforded Aditya today. Which is why she has always deserved that Amma from him.

I'm reminded of what he said that one time to Imlie ki everyone may hate him after he reveals the truth but he will be able to be pehle wala Aditya again jo humesha sach bolta tha......that is what I think we are seeing now as he is going one by one in wanting to tell the whole unvarnished truth to everyone including detailing all his flaws and fallacies along the way. That is where he will earn respect from people like Mithi-SK I think.

I'm subtracting the lie he told Aparna today about being in PD cuz that's mostly a white lie in the overall scheme of things😆.....itna toh sach hi bola na ki he's with Imlie😆
