@bold2: Yes, mujhe bhi lagta hai that these two are still in that zone. At least, Imlie toh hai. Adi wants and knows very well that she has his saath. Just imagine, how hard it is for someone who has always supported herself through the difficulties of life, gets this saath and affection from someone who might not even be able to fulfill that promise in the first place.

Oh those PD days and moments. Truly so beautiful and ek dum sukoon wala moments 😳 I totally agree with you on the fact that Imlie is not used to having that support, saath from anyone. It has always been her Amma, Dadda and Sita Maiya. That was her world, until destiny slapped her in the face and send her off in a totally new and different world. She had made peace that Adi would never be able to give her the status of his biwi, let alone fall in love with her. She was easily able to make herself understand. But that change in Adi and whatever happened in PD, was something she wasn't ready for at all. And that is the turmoil in and of her heart that she is fighting with ever since her BS is showing interest in her, like real wala care, concern, interest and even love (she knows damn well). Isliye that saath is not easy for her to accept and she made it so clear by asking ''kab tak?'' She is legit scared of losing that saath because her heart won't be able to take it, not this time...

@bold: And that is the basis of all this touching angst we are getting na :) Any angsty love story needs that strong basis for the yearning/angst....and this is what we have for Adi-Imlie....Destiny brings them together but the consequences of their choices keep them apart.....Adi yearns for her, she yearns for him....they know their home/happiness is with each other....but they also know they are in a very uncertain situation because of all kinds of reasons.....so the palpable angst remains even as there is no resolution yet :)

Wohi toh....remember how much we were discussing this even during the hut scene? That hug that day was about heartbreak more than anything else.....they very well know the sense of uncertainty they are living with.....Yes, Adi has vowed to himself to set things right, give her her due rights over him, her due place in his life.....but that sense remains ki koi nahin jaanta kaise kar paayenge.....meanwhile the heart will always want what it wants.....that is what that hug had signified that day also....ek sukoon bhi tha aur heartbreak bhi.....they know their only happiness is with each other but usko haath badhaa kar fully thaam bhi nahin sakte.

Yehi journey toh ab travel karni hai....how their bond sustains even in the midst of so much uncertainty....even after having due rights as husband-wife with each other, usko fully claim nahin kar paayenge for quite a while.

Waise since we are on the hut scene topic, I'm reminded again how blown away Adi was by Imlie's beauty without any embellishments....no makeup on her face either and he was so enchanted by her that day.

Meanwhile Didi precap scene mein bhi full makeup poth ke baithi hain hospital mein😆....Pran jaaye par makeup kabhi na jaaye😆....and iske baad bhi Adi ko kuch notice nahin hota.....lol

Kaise hai na - pehle gaanv-walo ne banduk taani aur shaadi kara di - Adi ne tab pehli shaadi nahi nibhayi lekin ab Malini uske mental health ki banduk taan ke khadi hai - aur Adi is being forced again into a marriage - last time gaanvwalo ke samne jaise man marke shaadi nibhane ki acting ki (with Imlie, PD trip 2) waise ab gharwalon ke samne karega (with Malini). Full circle. Bechara Adi - beta kya kahein - karma is a B*tch.

Waise, baki sab dekh bhi lun lekin Imlie ka didi jaap dekha nahin jaata..... looks like it will never end. Dementor didi and her dementedness is like a black cloud that will follow them forever.

Very well said dear! It is exactly that angst I love to see in a story between two people who do damn much want to be together, but just can’t for some reason. There are many many ITV jodis who were perfectly able to give us that angst, lekin phir bhi kyun AdiLie take it onto some next level.
Just like today’s scene wherein they conveyed so much through their eyes within such a few seconds (like you all already mentioned).

Just wanted to add something:
One scene that I can’t get over with is where they end up in that old couple’s house on that rainy night. Where Adi is mesmerized seeing Imlie in that sari with open hair. Of course the convo they had but that hug took it all... the build up was so well done; the expression, the body language, the hesitation. The way Adi hesitated to pull her into his embrace, the way Imlie even thought of initiating the same and then Adi eventually with lots of courage, very gently grabbed her arm and pulled her into that hug. I tell you, so many feels on so many levels Brilliantly executed! 👏🏼

Okay if someone has a gif on that hug then I will pray to all the Gods to make your dreams come true 😳

Memory reel rewind karein to the jealousy discussion wala FB😆.....Malini ne kaafi elaborately jealousy coax out karne ki koshish ki thi Adi se by asking him if it makes no difference who she's going with and where....and Adi was all like, nope, it's all good🤣

Iske baad bhi abhi bhi doubt hai what Adi would do if he was in Malini's place? Do minute mein exit ki taraf head karta and baat khatam kar deta😆.....Still it's amusing to read people applying generic speculations like this is some typical "cheating" wala case where husband feels he is free to go to other women but won't stand for wife doing the same😆. Adi has only ever felt that posessiveness for Imlie....not for Malini.

Adi made it clear to Malini even during their dating period just how much he cares and she still insisted on imagining some "grand love story".....lol so why the expectation now that Adi will care if she leaves him for any Tom, Dick or Harry? 😆

LOL difference is that Adi chaahe jitna marzi dikha raha tha ki woh mann maar ke nibhaa raha hai gunpoint waali shaadi, he did actually care for Imlie subconsciously.

While with Malini, mental gunpoint waali shaadi jitni marzi nibhaane ko bol dein, he is barely being able to manage token gestures towards her😆

Adi - never addressed Malini as his wife today...he did not for example say to the dr - my wife needs medical attention. When Imlie was hurt and even otherwise - he threw that proprietal relationship word around much and I was wondering if he would use it for MAlini today and he did not. :) I hope the makers don't make him say it tomorrow :)

I'm actually very doubtful they will ever show Adi referring to her as his wife or even calling her "Moon" again.

I'd briefly wondered if the heavy guilt after this suicide attempt from Malini will push him into possibly saying all this to pacify Malini again....but based on the precap, Adi still seems to be sticking to his basic stance....she is still Malini to him, he is still trying to tell her the truth.....so now I'm again skeptical about what level of token husband concern he will be able to give her even after this suicide show she's put on.

Would be extra ironic if all Malini gets out of this suicide attempt is a token re-entry back into T house without Adi having changed his behavior towards her much😆

She is either very delusional or very manipulative. Makers need to pick one.

She is all this and delusional too. In simple sense as long as things are going as per Malini and she is the center around which things happen, she is happy and nice and sweet but the moment she sees that the things are not like she wants them, that the attention is on someone or someone else is getting praised then she becomes this manipulative person who is able to use any means to make it so be it self pity, anger, niceness or taking the extreme step to bring the focus back on her. If you go back and see, all her actions and words have always been to elevate herself be it being nice to Imlie or be it when she was not being nice to Imlie. It has always been about her. Her delusions are her way of justifying her own actions to herself.

Her perfect love for Aditya is also a delusion because she wanted a life which was not like her parents. So she changed herself and made it so that Aditya sees her as this perfect, calm and understanding person, avoiding all scenarios where there can be fights or arguments between them. It was all Malini where she made it sure that everyone saw and thus think how perfect they are, how, similar they are, how are their thoughts match, how understanding she is about his work, how calm she is against his anger, etc.

But delusions are not reality and now because her perfect world that she envisioned and build up is not holding up against it, she is at a loss and hence her decision to take her life. She preferred to take the extreme step against knowing that her dream of having a perfect marriage, which is not like her parents, is crashing into pieces. Its really not about Aditya or love, its all about this perfect marriage that she desires and Aditya was just the person she choose to be because he was the best choice being her best friend. She made him the center of her own dream world and now when the center is not behaving as she wants him to and she has no clue how to fix it, we are seeing shades of the real Malini.
