You know, the reason I think she didn’t come out very well with some people was because the tripathis had us fooled with their happy go lucky exterior as well. Here was this girl, going through a rough time acting out at random things when her anger was obviously at something else and these people either treated her like an inconvenience or diverted the situation or her attention towards something else, they never really tried to listen to her or actually help her. She’s living in a limbo, why aren’t they getting her divorced? The tripathis for all the love they claim to have are any other typical family here who refuse to listen to their own children’s pleas to maintain a certain image of a perfect family to themselves and everyone else.
Yeah I kinda agree with you that the T’s want to maintain their image of a happy perfect family in society. It’s still sad though to see them doing the same mistake twice; with Rupi and Adi. Both deserves or actually need their family’s support but unfortunately they don’t seem to get it. Isliye toh yeh dono don’t seem to be a part of the family at times. Feels like they are distant; born toh hue in this family but were never actually a part of the family because both have been/going through rough times and nobody seems to understand or care for them. Logically, they will feel like outsiders or just don’t care to share their problems with their family because nobody will give them that supporting hand anyway ...
Also, just imagine the relief and confidence Adi wil get after he gets to know that Rupi knows. That feeling of finally having that support of a family member is sukoon wali feeling.
