They will never turn her pure evil....heck, they barely acknowledge her greys in this story.....lol woh toh humein hi pakaana hai with her faltugiri.....so yeah in the story also she will continue to be too weak to express what she's actually feeling and will continue a twisted portrayal of mahaanta.

If she had the guts why didn’t she wait for Aditya to come and talk to her...the reason is because once she hears the truth from Aditya, all bets are off.... I do find this worth dwelling on and at some point I guess this arc will also get its conclusion....Rupi keeps on finding ways to raise the fact that she never felt like they took a stand for her when it was needed.....so Tripathis definitely seem to treat their betis and bahus differently.....especially if the beti is doing something "against the norm".

Malini on the surface checks off all the boxes of a standard bahu.....sari parade, saji dhaji, sweet facade, getting along with the family.....it makes it easier for Tripathis to support her. They conveniently try to zone out the baggage she comes with vis a vis her psycho Mom and by extension, any incidents where Malini shows a not so nice side of her personality.

Rupi is considered a problem child cuz she doesn't always maintain a sweet facade and can be sharp tongued.....Adi is also considered a problem cuz he's ziddi/harsh/baat nahin maanta😆.....so Tripathis are very much hung up on appearances in their own way and have ended up neglecting their own children as a result.

Aparna never pauses to wonder ki jis bahu ke woh itne gungaan kar rahi hai, usse kabhi beti waali feel kyun nahin aayi? Isn't that the ultimate thing ki bahu beti ban jaaye ghar ki? But no, they are all so dazzled by Malini's exterior, they are also terrified of addressing the interior that peeks through from to time.....the apple cart must not be upset and they seem to think Malini alone is the one who's sweet and nice so the problem has to be in the person who doesn't want to be with her/support her.....even if that person is anyone from their own family😆.

Anyways, all this will also get solved via Imlie in the long run.....her light will shine through the darkness that Malini has created around the Tripathis and she will manage to give them perspective whether wittingly or unwittingly.

I must say that initially I wasn’t sure wether Rupi will be a positive or negative character, because she wasn’t the happiest shuru mein but she turned out good and today toh ek dum great!
Its so important to have someone who understands you, supports you and even fights for you when one finds it hard to do so by him/herself. This should give Imlie a huge hosla and hopefully she will see the situation from a different angle and perspective. I know she won’t change overnight, but maybe with baby steps and one change at a time.
Really hope Rupi continues to be that voice and support and talk some sense into her family members.

You know, the reason I think she didn’t come out very well with some people was because the tripathis had us fooled with their happy go lucky exterior as well. Here was this girl, going through a rough time acting out at random things when her anger was obviously at something else and these people either treated her like an inconvenience or diverted the situation or her attention towards something else, they never really tried to listen to her or actually help her. She’s living in a limbo, why aren’t they getting her divorced? The tripathis for all the love they claim to have are any other typical family here who refuse to listen to their own children’s pleas to maintain a certain image of a perfect family to themselves and everyone else.

@bold: So true....I again keep coming back to the concept of "Saath" that Malini and others are DEMANDING from Adi but you can't have true saath without UNDERSTANDING....and there is none between Adi-Malini. Saath takes on meaning only in Adi-Imlie's case cuz they have that connect/understanding even when they are apart.

Imlie probably is wary of ever taking support from anyone cuz it's never lasted in her life na? She's had a life that has always been filled with uncertainties....so who can even blame her for not knowing how to accept any certainty even if Adi is vowing to give it to her? That is why she tries to find contentment in the promise of saath rather than saath itself....she knows the situation that they are in makes it very tough for that saath to happen without causing unhappiness to others....that is why she holds back....but that is what she also has to understand ki saath mann se aata hai....jahaan mann na jude, wahaan koi saath nahin.

I keep remembering this moment from the PD track....I feel like that's still where Adi-Imlie are....even though Adi has told her he will give her saath HUMESHA, the harsh reality is now brushing up against that vow in different ways.....

Oh then it will be " that's my imlie " Oh GoD that was sounded so gaoat that day itself from.her mouth and now even more given how the whole.purpose was to steal.her success ka credit when actually she thought what's the big deal mannerless naukrani 2nd hi toh aayi hai but in the moment she didn't wanted her to even get appreciated for 2 mins for her success too so it all became about my imlie..

Yeah I expect she will do similar stuff in the coming days.....dikhaane ki koshish karegi how much she is "helping" Imlie in college😆, how much bas wohi Imlie ko sikha rahi hai sab, warna Imlie kisi laayak nahin😆

Imlie se toh no hope but I expect Rupi will cut in to remind everyone of Imlie's capabilities from time to time😛
