Anu takes a stand for Ishani & Preet:
In the episode of Anupamaa tonight, emotions run high as Anupama firmly takes a stand against the unfair treatment directed at Ishani and Preet. The moment anyone dares to speak negatively about the two young women, Anupama loses her patience and raises her voice without hesitation. She makes it clear that she will not tolerate gossip or character assassination and openly warns the society members that anyone who passes judgment without facts will have to face her. As Anupama speaks with fierce conviction, Rajini cannot help but smile in quiet satisfaction, though her expression quickly changes when Prerna notices her reaction.
Anu slams the media:
Anupama reminds everyone that the same society that now questions Ishani and Preet once trusted her blindly and even handed her the responsibility of power of attorney. She questions how that trust suddenly disappears when it comes to Preet, who has lived among them for six long years. With passion and clarity, Anupama defends both Ishani and Preet, stressing that familiarity and shared living should have built faith rather than suspicion.
One woman from the society raises a pointed question about Ishani and Preet returning home late at night and implies that their character is questionable because of it. Anupama immediately counters this narrow thinking. She asks whether her own character should be doubted simply because she sometimes returns home late as well. She goes on to explain that countless women work night shifts and late hours due to their professions, and this reality does not give anyone the right to judge their morals or intentions.
Taking her argument further, Anupama questions the hypocrisy of people who regularly watch television shows without judging the actors who perform late into the night. She asks whether those artists should also be subjected to character scrutiny simply because their work demands odd hours. She acknowledges that Ishani may have made mistakes in the past, but firmly states that Ishani would never do anything that could destroy her self respect or reputation. Anupama also points out how media narratives are often exaggerated to grab attention, and she questions how society members can blindly believe such stories without understanding the truth behind them.
Chawl apologises to Anu:
Anupama then turns her attention toward the media present there. She explains that while the media claims to bring out the truth, it often adds drama and pain to already sensitive situations. She strongly states that careless reporting can ruin lives and leave permanent scars. Rajini steps forward at this moment and supports Anupama, urging the media to show responsibility and humanity instead of chasing sensational headlines.
Feeling ashamed, the chawl residents apologize to Anupama. However, she asks them a difficult question. She wants to know whether a simple apology can undo the emotional damage caused by harsh words and false assumptions. She explains that the wounds created today will not heal easily. Turning to Ishani, Anupama advises her to thoroughly check the background of any assignment before agreeing to it. She also warns Pakhi to stop placing money above values and self respect. Addressing Preet, Anupama asks her to control her aggression and reminds her that she is suffering today only because she tried to help Ishani with a kind heart. Preet promises to remember Anupama’s words, while both she and Ishani feel deeply embarrassed.
Anupama gently lifts their spirits by telling them that people who are innocent should never bow their heads in shame. She encourages them to stand tall and not retreat in fear. She asks Ishani and Preet to repeat her words and regain their confidence. After that, Anupama announces that those who wish to attend Bharti’s farewell are welcome, while others are free to leave.
Bharti bids the chawl an emotional adieu:
Elsewhere, Kinjal breaks down emotionally, and Ansh comforts her. Kinjal admits that Anupama had tried to warn her about Paritosh earlier, but she ignored that advice. Despite everything, she still holds on to the hope that Paritosh will change someday. Ansh tries to cheer her up, reminding her of happier moments. Kinjal fondly recalls how Samar used to make Anupama laugh, just as Ansh does now, and she blesses him for bringing a smile back to her face.
At another place, Vasundhara asks Prem and Rahi to return home soon. Khyati advises Vasundhara to calm down, warning her that stress could affect her health. Vasundhara responds sarcastically, asking whether Khyati’s constant lectures are any less stressful. She complains that Anupama always creates tension and accuses Khyati of supporting her. Khyati sharply points out that Vasundhara remembers Anupama more often than she remembers God. This realization leaves Vasundhara stunned and speechless.
Back at the farewell, Anupama bids an emotional goodbye to Bharti. Bharti and Preet share a heartfelt moment as Bharti expresses her disappointment over Preet missing her wedding. Preet apologizes sincerely. Bharti asks Sarita to take responsibility for the chawl, and Sarita promises to do so. She also requests Anita and Sunita to always stand by Anupama and reminds them that the Dance Ranis should stay united no matter what. Anita assures her of their support.
Prerna shares a warm moment with Anupama, which surprises Rahi. Bharti then takes Leela’s blessings, and Leela hands over the house keys, reminding Bharti that she will always have a home in Ahmedabad. Hasmuk is deeply impressed by Leela’s gesture. Bharti asks Rahi to never leave Anupama’s side, and Rahi promises her loyalty. Prerna reassures Bharti not to fear anyone in Rajini’s house. Pakhi apologizes to Bharti, and overwhelmed with emotions, Bharti finally breaks down in Anupama’s arms.
