Nikhil , Internet and Sonbarsa

Isn't it interesting to see no one using any H-Tec device in Nikhil's family including Nikhil. Both him and Ishana are planning to go to London for higher studies, they romance, go to parlors, drink ( unregulated by any any scientific agency) protein shakes, eat blu cheese, ravioli/Italian dinners but have never seen anyone holding iPads or galaxies or kindle.

Understood that Sonbarsa is a small place but the news is on the TV and also in the newspapaer as per the precap, such things go viral via BBC or national news on social networking sites. Looks like fictional Sonbarsa is not too far from Delhi as you could drive to that place in a day or half and without taking any lunch breaks, and more so, Nikhil's closest family is there and no reaction from the Delhi family at Sonbarsa's news. Its not only about Lajjo its also about the bua and dadaji.

Why it took so many days for Nikhil to get this news, that is why I say that our Nikhil is a simple person in a fake westernized delhi house and is a dumbo, he is less smart than our Lajjo and does not deserve her. he deserves the ever pretentious Ishana.

Just adding my views on the future track -I wish some mature Delhi doctor comes to Sonbarsa and falls in love with our rustic beauty Lajjo and then the two love stories could go parallel- one in London and one in India.

I am scared to see Lajjo back in Delhi with Nikhil and act like a docile daughter in law in front of Nikhil's two bully moms in law.

Well i think nikhil is very busy person roaming like a puppy behind ishana...So he can use all these devices when he will have time from baby sitting ishana😆

actually it is shown that the doctor in remote village tried his best and now only govt declared epidemic. It declared a day before only and then came in news na.I think they show he has Ipad but lap tops etc to we see na and phones seem High tech

Exactly my point. He is too busy worrying about Ishana, never see him studying/planning his professional future.

sonbursa is within a day's distance from Delhi but it can still be far yaar , I mean my parental house is about 7 hours from Delhi when I go to India my brother drives me from airport but still when I reach my house Delhi seems far away and not many news etc are shared.

What I am trying to say is Sonbursa could be 4-5 hours from Delhi but can be still remote for Nikhil's family who's is estranged from Nikhil's dada anyways. something made them never to go back na...

But I still feel Nikhil is only soul mate for Laajo her tadap is reaching him at unconscious level, he is feeling this forbearing doom kind of feeling because of it .

I feel they showed it realistically. Epidemic declared same day news came,? Nikhil just missed it and saw it in newspaper next day...now question is what will happen next ,how will he react, in pre cap he seems so dispassionate ...I hope for a worried reaction from him

Makes sense. Though I feel he is wasting his life being an emotional fool with every woman he comes across in his life.

I agree that in most of the daily soaps the Hero is shown as a dumbo and the women of the house rule the roost!!😆 But in this show presumably Nikhil has just completed his graduation and has taken a break to chill out with friends when he gets entangled in marriage and rest we all know.

I don't think he is a dumbo but only drowned in self guilt and being a considerate person he doesn't want to cause harm or break anyone' s heart. Thus the show "Gustakh Dil".😕

I don't think we can ever imagine another hero for Laajo as Laajo loves Nikhil . May be in upcoming tracks we will see changes in Nikhil and surely we will like his character thereafter.😊

yes I like ur analysis...we cannot imagine anyone else for Laajo and We love Nikhil he is deep down a very good human being and he cares a lot for Laaajo and ur right about why show is called gustakh dil----bec it is heart that is not in control be it of Nikhil ,ishaana ,laajo or even barkha...all are acting according to their hearts and messing up big time
