Savz - overlooking the fallout on Wednesday (and some lapse yesterday) - I think Gulaal has been pretty much in character. Being strong doesn't translate to never being weak. She is a woman groomed in some strict cultural inhibitions, despite all the freedom she has probably had as opposed to many 'females' in such areas ... she is freer in her spirit, than her customs permit - but she is certainly not the rebel by choice. Everytime she has shown opposition to a custom, it has been in underlying name of a duty... a farz - that she imagines for herself, or is expected out of her in general. Overall - I'd give the CVs a 95/100 in doing justice to GK. They were a hard and unusual couple to deal with, not to mention very difficult and complex as individuals... and at most times, we've found unbelievable conviction in the story progress as well as character evolution.

Which takes me back to, I'm happy now... despite the last 2 days. I hope the ME will be a finale worthy of this epic show!

Same here... happy for the show that we had today.. yet sad that it will be all over on Sunday.. sob, sob... I am feeling depressed already worrying about how to fill my Gulaal hours from monday.. I have spent so many hours in the last few months, watching, re-watching, and sitting and thinking and imagining stuff from the show... and now... all over... 😭

Its more sad that I had such a small time frame to appreciate the beauty of this show... I wish I had had my fill... i wish the show had gone on for 2 yrs or so, at the end of which I would have happily said good bye to my favourite characters and story... few months was too short...

Well, I hope that the CVs show us a loevely ending, with some smiling faces, and a happy ending feeling from the audience...

:((( The void shall be. I don't know if I'd have ever said I had enough of this show - if it had been this brilliant in being 2 years long either! If they gave us another month now, happy times, I would still be as sad as today, to let it go then... there's no getting enough of the 'quality' this show has given... and GK are immortals on my list of fav fiction couples... The ones I inevitably tend to seek out in real life, he he!

I don't know what Monday onwards will be like. I can't seem to think and imagine at this point. Maybe having a fall was good idea - because after I get back to work Monday, there is so much desk work to clear off... I hope I can bury myself in crazy work and not think until a week is up - at least...

we understand for gk individually and together very human with all forms gk or gk. i didn't mean strong never being weak. they showed gulaal character with flaws very human. when u talk about cultural inhibitions she done dv for duty. they showed her as challenging n strong character here i am again saying not translate it in to weak or flaws it is her character.strong challenging character n sacrificing herself for sake of it if she thinks it is necessary.
she knows very well about her.
her mother says u r already living like kesar's wife she too knew it but don't want to hear it.
eventhough she done dv n other things for family's happiness she didn't accept kesar out of duty or cultural inhibitions or anything for sake of it. she done with heart.
she knows n realised that she loves kesar but everything out of hands now dv break n caused so much pain to kesar n suddenly kesar leaving to city so hurrly she is confused now i think wat to do n she says how i face him n wat i talk to him n avoided him n in later scene said to kesar breaking in to tears that i caused u so much pain.
i think becos of time constraint many loose ends not to gk story but as a whole story n ofc to the main plot also.ya gulaal uniqueshow we all love it for the classic work but that doesn't mean we can't defend n they can make everytime perfctly n
ya damage happen to the story n to the main plot alo i.e gk story eventhough they are ending it on good note or hight point watever u call it.

O my dear! I was on about GK's union on the hospital bed 🤣 But I'm more than happy to hear that you aren't in hospital dude! You really need to take care of yourself :(

I just saw the episode on TV and *sigh*...all breaks my heart </3 I loved loved love the song sequence and the last scene was everything GK are...HEARTBREAKERS!

Reemz - *embarrassed at misinterpretting* te-he! I was reading your comment on the phone while eating, so that distraction in my defense, haha! Dude - as long as the union is nothing like the movie Vivah please! I know people LOVED that movie - but seriously, it was the most cliche and melodramatic scene EVER! I want GK to stay in their element. Powerful, and subtle! Then I'm good. Union kahin bhi hojaye! :D

Haha!! Tu cute hai :P

Oh I just imagined Gulaal putting sindoor in Kesar's maang 🤣 My bad :P It's the only thing I can currently remember from Vivah's climax! I could hear all the aunties sniffing in the cinema 🤣

Call me lazy but I am virtually 'liking' posts...! My nets give me so many issues that I give up sometimes.

My only expectation from the ME is that we get at least one smiling, clean -shaved look of the couple in their element.. and at least 40 min of GK screen-time... out of the 60... its not asking for too much, 😳

Savz - when I said she's only been a rebel in the name of duty, I wasn't talking just about the DV. In fact I was talking a lot more of the GV times. Gulaal coming with Vasant as Nirja was HUGE. She was bold and strong in it - but think about her reason? She owed it to Vasant, the man who saved her father, and to the people, who were dying without water. Again, her wanting to marry Vasant? They didn't run away and marry. They only set themselves to the task of convincing their families out of a senseless rivalry. AND again, protecting Dushyant and keeping his secret - indeed a rebellion of kind against any orthodox woman opinions - but she does it in the name of her promise to her husband.

I'm saying Gulaal draws her strength from her her sense of duty. She treats none of it like an obligation. So she obviously has her weak moments!

In today's episode - Gulaal's denial was not for facts, we're long past that version of Gulaal. She has broken this DV because of the family... if she went back to Kesar now however, BECAUSE the family has accepted her, it would have nothing or insignificant much to do with Kesar. At this point, she cannot bear to see Kesar, or listen to PB - not because she's hiding from the truth, but because she KNOWS it, and can't bear it. And yet - her final phase of fight has to be breaking down that ultimate wall, of moving on in life being a RIGHTEOUS decision, and not just something her heart wants. I suppose in a way, that is what Vasant's coming back is about. She moved on in her heart from Vasant to Kesar - but her years of being such a righteous person (as a rebel or not - her intentions have been unexceptionally saintly by the book) so IMO, what holds her back now is the lack of her realization, that her heart is not falling into clutches of her own temptation, but that moving on is truly the right thing. The fact that she now knows where her heart is, but cannot find a concurrence between her head and heart makes it impossible for her to hear PooBaa or meet Kesar and be reminded all the more explicitly, of how badly she wants her heart to win this battle!

Gulaal filling sindoor for Kesar?! Yaaah Allah! Wese hi he's such a ladies man, now you want him to enact Duggu?!! DUDE! Ye kya bol diyaaa tune! Now if they have a hospital union, I'm going to think of THIS! Dayum!

Minks - I think actually airing time will be 45 minutes, lol! 15 minutes adverts. But yes, I'd still want 40 minutes out of that to be GK. Chalo, 35 at least. LOL!

And I think we'll get clean shaven Kesar for the wedding. Hopefully man
! If they don't give us PROPER wedding, after we lived through Kulli ki saari kasmein waade - I'll be sort of miffed... Forget Kulli, we were actually forced to watch a few episodes worth of Talli-Kesar ki wedding preps and rituals man! We deserve some genuine GK flavor now - shaadi mode and all!

Something as exclusive as Bittoo and SHruti's confession in BBB - ROFL! I mean, NOT that obviously, but like that was so awesomely unique to them - the bread pakode ki kasam couple?!

I think - or want?! - Gullu to get Kesar's coin out in her confession. Not just rona dhona, but some spunk when she tells him!!! The coin deserves a finale ode =) I can imagine it being linked to 'aur tu'... like coin toss deciding Gullu loves Kesar, and then Kesar asking aur tu...?! *blush blush blush beams*
