For some reason, when I watched the episode first, I didn’t find it abusive or rude. After reading your post I watched again, then I felt for some it can seem that way. But I still beg to differ. Just a different perspective maybe😊

My reason- We are comparing this with his past actions, and hence assuming his capability in certain situation wrt to Sai. If we watch this as a stand alone episode, Virat is dealing with heart break, is hurt and disappointed and with all this, he is unwell too. If we are unwell and feel low due to any such factors, we are generally very sensitive, vulnerable and irritable. He was just trying to get some peace in all this when Sai walked in. We could see how he was jerked awake by her. That itself had triggered him. Then she insisted on feeding him. I’m not saying she was wrong, but then this is one of those situation where again no one is wrong. He didn’t intend to throw the food, it was an accident. He was only trying to stop her. We can see that in his reaction when he kept his hand in his eyes. And the rest of the words were similar to what he said in previous episode, but with more force. And thats because of the situation.
Will quote something that will probably make my perspective more clear.

Hurt is often mistaken for anger. 85% of the times the person is not mad, rather is disappointed.

Like I said I understand where he is coming from..but not the behaviour..

Abusive, I dont know probably the his past behaviour is making me call its so... But the way he walked off letting her fetch that mess that was created as a result of his hurt, was something that I found disrespectful...

In terms of what you are saying about Virat's character graph, I think this is where we disagree. I see him to have deep emotional issues, which is why he keeps repeating his mistakes. We discussed this yesterday na. But, the problem is that to the average viewer, they are not going to think about these things...

Character graph in terms of repeating the mistakes which comes as a result of hi aggressiveness. Emotional or without an intention, I think he needs to draw a line. Just like Sai needs to cut down her brash attitude.. In his case, his flaw is a tad bit bigger than her.. But choro yaar...Lets not stretch this anymore..

I did feel sorry for her state, more than Virat today. But again different perspective about this scene. His mental bandwidth at this point is limited. He is only trying to run away from her, it is not that he wants to disrespect her. He is hurting and everytime she comes close to him, cares for him he hurts more thinking his love is not being reciprocated and is reminded of her words. He is just trying to avoid that and is running away from her.

I get it all and yet cannot let go of the picture of broken pieces and scattered food left to be cleaned that way..May be I am being to biased about her..there..

Usha, my take on him walking away without helping her clean the plate. I have also responded regarding Virat's POV in another post just now in this thread. Forgot to tag you... read if interested... 😊

What you said makes sense on why he walked away without helping her. He just didn't want her to care for him anymore , it was hurting him and he was hurting him and he was inturn hurting her. I hope they show him reflecting on all these when Sai's mental breakdown is shown else it just wouldnt make sense on why she had a breakdown now all of a sudden after 1 year. He should be able to realize it's because of him she was living there all along and without him she couldn't survive in that mad house even a single day😭

I don't think he pushed the plate intentionally , it was just a reflux and he repented immediately unlike the DIG waala episode where he did not have any regret😆.

The way he didnt care if she was hurt when the plate dropped

The way he is completely drowned in his own emotions

It's like taking advantage that since I fullfill your responsibility I can torture you emotionally!

Most of the ML have either man handled the FLor thrown her out of the house .yet the FL chooses to go running to him at a drop of a hat !

TBH, Almost all ITV jodis are TOXIC, including ours. Jitne ITV shows maine dekhe hai, only one couple didn't seem toxic, maybe they were toxic, I really don't know, the show shut off abruptly and I didn't followed it much anyways.

My fav couples SaiRat, Dev*ks#i and Sh*vi#a all three were toxic. But I still enjoy watching them. Because they are fictional not real and not my rishtedaar ki main offend to the core ho jau, toh chal jaata hai.

There are so many movie characters as well which when we see onscreen, we will be like 'aww' 'cutee' 'charming' etc etc.. But if we get a person like that irl, we will be creeped and haunted by them for sure.

It's just that we as an audience enjoy seeing a couple by keeping aside the toxicity and logic because it is PURE FICTION and they are not real, and they are a part of ITV. We very well know to ignore the cons and concentrate on the pros. IMO, that's the only way we can enjoy shows or movies. Warna, if we start filtering out na, there will be hardly content for us to enjoy.

No indirects on anyone. My personal opinion. Ab koi bhi forum waasi khud mat padna mujhpar calling me anti-SaiRat or something, I really really love the FICTIONAL character SaiRat.

Tagging you both as I saw you both discussing over something like this. My personal opinion
