But, I saw it as him leaving the room, because he could not bare to see her acting his concerned and caring towards him anymore. He needed to get away from her as soon as possible. He had tried to tell her to stop, and yet she kept pushing...because she cannot see him like this either. I'm not defending what he did. I'm just saying that is why he did what he did.... he is just so desperate and helpless at this point... he is not thinking how any of this is WRECKING Sai....

I hope I am making sense here...

Yeah Yea...I would say the same thing...Too self consumed.. 🤣

Anyway I just dont want them to degrade him more...He cannot disrespect her..more than this.. They should try to tone it down, since they got creative with this scene..and it was not a copy... I dont expect them to not copy and show this attitude..Because, we have always attributed the bad Virat to copy pasting.. Atleast there is some saving grace there, some counter argument there in his favour...creativity mei bhi kyu vile dikhana...Why make him a villain..

Also, So You see, there was this scene, where after he leaves announcing his transfer, everyone speaks about how he is leaving and leaving thIs BOJH on their maatha..Too much ho jayega wo sab...😭

Honestly I saw another Ninad in him..

It's very hurtful not being loved by your partner.. Both Virat and Sai are living their worst fear currently.. He is just shutting her from everything or probably from everyone aswell.. Her love and care effects him because he doesn't want to loose himself again ..He can't afford it anymore.. His reaction is the result of some past collective events ..First Sai's rejection, second Samrat's indifference, then again Sai's confession to Samrat and In the morning Sai's reply to Pakhi.. He was still hoping that she would say that she is Virat's wife but no..

People were writing about how he disrespected food and also implying that he purposefully shoved the plate (not just in this thread but others too), so that is why I brought that up...

Usha, my take on him walking away without helping her clean the plate. I have also responded regarding Virat's POV in another post just now in this thread. Forgot to tag you... read if interested... 😊

Its not that yaar.. I understand him..Infact just yesterday I justified him going to meet Pakhi also, but I do feel his anger issues have to be dealt with and CVs really have to tone down that, because young women are watching the show and they have loved Sai for who she is.. I dont even know if you are getting me..

Yaar young women are watching many ITV shows. Tell me one show where the ML isn't toxic?? This is a problem with ITV in general... not just Ghum. I am getting you 100%. Even in terms of the discussions we have here on this forum, young women watching aren't even going to see it nearly in the same way. They are going to romanticize SaiRat, just like they romanticize nearly every single other jodi, all of whom are toxic in one way or another. These issues are way more complicated and deep than what is portrayed....

In reality, Virat is a deeply troubled man and his upbringing has contributed very much to that. He needs medical help. But, why would the makers show that?? They are too busy showing OTT cafe kaands....

My cousins who live in India who are 14-15 were watching IPKKND and they thought that Arnav manhandling Khushi was romantic...

This is a problem in the entire industry yaar

ABhi main kya bolun......I will talk about just this show.. Virat is an IPS officer...a.nd is in love....and I just feel this scene was not needed today...Not at all.....Anyway let it go..I am not able to explain myself here...

Arnav did not behave this way with Khushi after they were in love.. But choro thats another tangent and I know why you brought him here😆

Even before they were in love... is that ok??? And I brought him up, because that is one of the only other shows I have seen somewhat consistently...

Raman also manhandled Ishita, Maan character assasinated and manhandeled Geet, Abhi did the same to Pragya... these are some of the most iconic jodis

Yaar I am getting your point 100%. The scene today was NOT needed. But neither are most of the other scenes in Ghum....

My point is that I agree with you, but all of ITV is toxic.

No its not.. It never was.. But yet again, in TV show if you cant show the graph, then point kya hai...Yaha ghum fir ke fire wahi..Sorry and then get back to same thing....

Again That was a different character, he was introduced grey, he was introduced as vile...He was introduced as an AH...And he owned it....This one has not been introduced that way...and this one behaving this way being and IPS is correct...

In terms of what you are saying about Virat's character graph, I think this is where we disagree. I see him to have deep emotional issues, which is why he keeps repeating his mistakes. We discussed this yesterday na. But, the problem is that to the average viewer, they are not going to think about these things...
