Since that night

(Goldenball - Rakhi's FF - Shifting Sands)

One day on a lonely night

The stars shined and the moon smiled

You descended down the earth like an Angel

Your beauty sparkled like the pearls on the ocean bed

Your laughter created ripples on the silent sea

Your unconscious tug at my heart compelled me

To get pulled towards you..

Since that night

All I can think of is you

All I can dream of is you

You are all I can see in front of me

You are all I can feel beside me

My world has turned upside down

My days are spent restlessly thinking about you

And my nights are spent sleeplessly dreaming about you

Everywhere I go, everywhere I turn

All I see is you, you and you.

An invisible thread pulls me towards you

And makes me question this lure towards you

Is it attraction or love?

I am not sure what is it that I feel towards you, but

All I want is to get to know you better

All I want is to hear you talk

All I want is to hear you laugh

All I want is to spend all my moments with you

And All I want is you, you and you!

I want to be close to you

I want to understand you

So please give me a chance, just one more time

I beg for your forgiveness from the ground

I want to make everything better

While I soothe you in my arms

My heart is restless

Not knowing what you feel

Oh! dear Angel from the heaven..

Please give me a chance, just once chance

Because All I want is you, you and you

Scared to feel again

(For Rakhi's FF - Shifting Sands)

I am scared, scared to feel again

To feel the essence of love in me again

To feel myself being surrounded by your presence

To feel myself being engulfed in your arms

I am scared, scared to even think of love again

Every time when I am near you, I get affected

Every time when I am thinking of you, I get affected

Every time when you are not in front of me, I get affected

Every time you when you call my name, I get affected

What is it about you that affects me so much?

What is it about you that makes me lose my mind?

What is it about you that keeps me on my toes every moment?

What is it about you that makes me wonder about myself?

If I do not hear from you, I get worried

If you do not appear in front of me, I get anxious

Yet, when you are in front of me, I want to run from you

Only because you affect me, my mind, my body and my soul

Yes, I am scared, scared to feel again

Scared for the feeling that is growing in me once again

Yes, I am scared, scared to feel for you.

To feel you in my heart once again.

awesome collection each time i read your poems my mind went back to the time when i studied english litereature , my most favorite subject 😊thanks to my loving teacher i understood the depth of words in poetry and got hooked to poetryone should have an amazing talent for this art 😊 you have been gifted with that talent

i honestly want to thank you for refreshing my memories about learning litereature which i cherish deeply 😳

my favorites are the poems based on muskan di's FF s.i love others as well . the poems for shifting sands are the ones filled with huge range of emotions for me as the FF carries a different flavor while dealing with harsh reality
