Away from me

(Muskaan's FF - Truly Magical)

The only hope of happiness I have is from the little angel who is yours

Who lights up my heart every time I see her face

I feel an instant connection with her

And my heart starts beating faster when I am near her

My smile widens when she looks at me

I feel content when she holds my hand

I feel peaceful when she falls asleep in my arms

I want to make her happy

And give her everything that she deserves

I want her to accept me

I want her to love me

Because I feel she is mine

I am lost when she gets upset at me

I feel rejection when she does not look at me

And that is how I felt on my birthday

When she was not happy with me

I felt like I failed again, yet again

I did not know what to do

I did not know how to make her happy

And so I did what I am used to doing

Yelling! And I yelled at her

And she went away crying...away from me.

Innocent

Her Innocent heart

Only used to beat for him

Ever since she had known him

Ever since she had felt his presence

Ever since she had felt his pain

Ever since she had felt his restlessness

Her innocent heart

Only used to beat for him

He was the only one for her

His ego, his anger, his rejection

It was all hers and only hers

She accepted it all with an open heart

She accepted it all with her outstretched arms

She accepted it all because that is all she got from him

She accepted it all because it was all unknown to her

She accepted it all because her heart had given him all the rights

Just to him, because

Her innocent heart

Only used to beat for him

Days became months and months became years

She grew up into a beautiful woman

And he into a handsome man

She loved him day after day

He hated her night after night

One day destiny played a game and married them together

She knew that she loved him

Loved him with the last breath of her selfless soul

She knew that he hated her

Hated her with the last breath of his heartless soul

Yet, her innocent heart

Only used to beat for him

Every minute, every hour, every day

He kept on tormenting and torturing her

With his silence and with his cruel words

She died a little breath by breath

She died a little day by day

She died a little night after night

Her eyes became soulless and hollow

Her heart became as numb as a hard stone

Her tears got stuck in her throat

Her breath got suffocated in her soul

With immense pain pricking her mind, body and soul

She lost it, lost it all

Her love, her patience and her strength

She lost it, lost it all

Her selfless soul that only used to beat for him

Today, she is no longer innocent

Her innocent heart that only used to beat for him

Has drowned, drowned in the reality of his cruelness

In reality of his hatred and resentment

In reality of his anger and ego

Her innocent heart and her innocent soul

Are far away, far away from him.
