She grew up into a beautiful woman
And he into a handsome man
She loved him day after day
He hated her night after night
One day destiny played a game and married them together
She knew that she loved him
Loved him with the last breath of her selfless soul
She knew that he hated her
Hated her with the last breath of his heartless soul
Yet, her innocent heart
Only used to beat for him
Every minute, every hour, every day
He kept on tormenting and torturing her
With his silence and with his cruel words
She died a little breath by breath
She died a little day by day
She died a little night after night
Her eyes became soulless and hollow
Her heart became as numb as a hard stone
Her tears got stuck in her throat
Her breath got suffocated in her soul
With immense pain pricking her mind, body and soul
She lost it, lost it all
Her love, her patience and her strength
She lost it, lost it all
Her selfless soul that only used to beat for him
Today, she is no longer innocent
Her innocent heart that only used to beat for him
Has drowned, drowned in the reality of his cruelness
In reality of his hatred and resentment
In reality of his anger and ego
