Mohit Jaswani opens up about his journey from Raipur to Naagin 7

Actor Mohit Jaswani, currently seen playing Arjun, the younger brother of male lead Aryaman Suri (Namik Paul) in Naagin 7, recently opened up about his journey into acting and the path that led him from Raipur to Mumbai. In an exclusive interaction, Mohit reflected on his background, early responsibilities, and the choices that changed the direction of his life.

From Raipur Roots to Big Dreams

Mohit shared that he belongs to Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and comes from a humble, middle-class business family. His family runs a stationery shop, and from a very young age, he was actively involved in the business. His father had always hoped that Mohit would continue the family trade. In fact, Mohit began handling business responsibilities at the age of 14, which gave him financial understanding and stability early in life. He acknowledged that he could have easily chosen to stay in Raipur and build a secure future. However, despite the comfort and certainty, he felt a strong inner calling to act and perform, which he could not ignore.

The Leap of Faith to Mumbai

Talking about his move to Mumbai, Mohit revealed that it was not an easy decision for his family to accept. When he decided to relocate, he initially told his parents he was going to pursue higher studies, as mentioning acting directly might have been difficult for them to accept. He went on to complete his BMS degree from KPB Hinduja College. During his third year of college, he began auditioning and slowly entered the world of acting. With no industry connections or guidance, Mohit had to figure out everything on his own.

He recalled facing multiple rejections, long waiting periods, and moments of self-doubt. However, he does not label that phase as a struggle. According to him, those experiences played a crucial role in shaping him, both professionally and personally. He believes that such phases help build an actor's patience, resilience, and maturity.

From Stationery Shop to Television Screens

Reflecting on his career so far, Mohit shared that it has been just two years since he began acting professionally, yet the journey feels surreal. From managing a stationery shop in Raipur to being part of a popular show like Naagin 7, the transition has been significant. He expressed gratitude for what he has achieved in a short span and feels encouraged by his progress. Mohit firmly believes that this is only the beginning of his journey and that there is much more to explore and learn.

Apart from Naagin 7, Mohit Jaswani has also appeared in shows like Bhagwan Jhulelal Sai and Kumkum Bhagya. In addition, he has been featured in several commercial advertisements, steadily building his experience and presence in the television industry.
