I wonder if Shakespeare ever felt the need to put up such a disclaimer. And, I wonder if the GHSP team ever felt the need to do so too. By rights, they ought to have been the first one to do so.

and render the 300-400 odd members of GF totally jobless😆. Thank you, Babaji! They haven't thought of this as yet 😆

-Rati-: Report those comments rather than put disclaimers. If a post is tilting too much in favor of a character, is it wrong to point that out? Some posts may look like neat summary of character, eulogizing his or her traits, but they are actually putting the other character down. If someone shows displeasure against what one may feel is a biased post, is that wrong? I do not think so.

If the language used is wrong, report it.

I would say such comments are a mass bashing of the other people in the forum who might disagree. Mods should warn such comments if not official it should be a verbal warning atleast. I mean comeon, there are people who politely put a discalimer saying "Please tay away" but some disclaimers are a mockery if you know what i mean.😊

I said pretty much the same thing to Rati, I think on the last page- that the disclaimers at times, are also not very different in tone and language than the "attackers" they want to keep out😆

Well know writer never post on IF with set of rules. They publish in real world where no rules follow so they are open to criticism snide remarks.
Snide remark on GF inculde question on my mental level or probably if I am chosen one on my womenhood. But on IF I have choice to put disclaimer until there is some rule in IF COC.

Thanks for your point . As I said all my point of view in my post above. I see no need to repeat myself some trillion times.

I Agree Rati... And that is what i am screaming about! Disagreeing doesnot mean bashing. Many people think that disagreeing or pointing out the fault on their favourite character is bashing.
When i say "Geet was rude when she asked Maan to leave" That is pointout out her mistake. that is a crticism... That opens a healthy discussion. But the moment i call Geet Rude... Geet fans would be on me for bashing her!
But when i say Geet only deserves this...Maan should leave her and go to someone else... Geet should rot in hell for doing this to Maan... That i consider bashing! which should be repoted accordning to me!
Again this is subjective! The subject can be a fictious charcater or a forum member!

I find a lot of the disclaimers pretty insulting/mocking as well- bashers not allowed, mera deemag mat khao, dont disrespect me by posting if you disagree. These disclaimers are very offputting especially since every second post on GF (serious posts that do carry someones opinion) these days carries a disclaimer.

Sure they doing great job, at least I credit the new addition of viewbies and cool viewbies are prompt to help and I appreciate that but my sentence above that you bolded was more to do with all fellow members not the handful DT.
If we respect the COC and abide by the rules then need of disclaimer wont arise as it had never done before in case of few post makers I have closely followed who feel a need add it now.
As for disclaimers the ones you pointed out sure sound impolite but I have been lucky to read only 2 I mentioned in my comment.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen any disclaimer that says *yo don't post in here if you are trying to VOICE your views or say anything against my views* or * Don't post if you r jerk enough to bash members* or * Only post if you agree with me*.

All the disclaimers are used for inviting a healthy discussion. Not a discussion where one member questions another whether she's a woman or not and if she's mentally imbalanced.

I click post publish it, its open to all . But even writers or show put disclaimer not fit for underaged or probaly not against any caste or religion.

Its not because they are scared of criticism but to avoid controversies.

Using disclaimer is my choice and my right unless IF COC bans me to do it. Until than I can use it to save myself from virtual assault.
