The makers of Yash’s upcoming film Toxic A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups unveiled Kiara Advani’s first look from the film on Sunday, December 21. The poster introduces Kiara as Nadia and offers a glimpse into what appears to be a darker and more layered character than audiences have previously seen her portray.

The first look shows Kiara standing against the backdrop of a circus, dressed in an off shoulder gown with a thigh high slit. She is barefoot, with smeared eye makeup running down her face, suggesting emotional vulnerability. The visual hints at a troubled inner world and sets the tone for the film’s surreal and intense narrative.

Yash shared the poster on social media, officially revealing Kiara’s character name. Fans reacted quickly, with several commenting on the striking visual and calling it a departure from her earlier screen image. While reactions poured in, the makers refrained from revealing further plot details.

Kiara Advani has built a strong position in mainstream Hindi cinema with films like Kabir Singh, Shershaah, War 2 and other commercial successes. Toxic marks her first collaboration with Yash and filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, and the poster suggests a role that leans more towards transformation than familiarity.

Toxic A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with the Ugadi festival. The release date places it in direct competition with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, which has already generated significant buzz following the success of its first instalment.

Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar emerged as one of the highest grossing films of 2025, raising expectations for its sequel. With both films targeting a large theatrical audience, industry watchers and fans have expressed concern over a potential box office clash. Some have urged the makers to reconsider release plans.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic also stars Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will release in six languages.
