Part 6:

For a moment ,he remained silent, staring at her ,overwhelmed with happiness. "Thank you naina. I promise that no matter what I will be there with you always" he said sincerely. After the exams, I will come to your home and talk to your parents. May be they will change their mind about that match"

She was giggling and he looked at her confused "Here he was talking about serious matters and what is so funny in this? Naina! What happened to you?" he enquired her.

She could not control her laughter. "Mr.America does not exist at all . I just created a character to help you to confess your feelings for me"

Raj could not believe it."Oh God! This girl is impossible." He was not sure whether pretend to be angry on her or laugh with her. Before he could decide, she controlled her laughter and she embraced him. "I love you so much. I can't wait anymore. So, I did this. Sorry" she said.

He melted at her words and took a deep breath before saying the three magical words that were buried in his heart for such a long time. "I love you too naina"

They stayed quiet , hearts filled with happiness and contentment not caring about anything else around them. When they broke out of their trance, they found that rain has stopped and they smiled at each other sheepishly.

They returned to the academy and both left to their respective rooms not before sharing a good-night hug. Naina entered her room and pooja was in deep sleep. Naina wanted to share her happiness with pooja but decided that it was better to tell her next morning.
After so many days, she got a good sleep and dreamed about her future with Raj.

She got up in the morning and started getting ready humming a tune softly. Pooja stared at her in surprise. She guessed that something had happened yesterday and that must be related to Rajveer sir. "Naina! When did you came? Why did you talk like that on the phone?"

Naina hugged her." Thanks a lot pooja. Your call made my work much easier."

"Work! What work?" pooja asked her confused."He proposed to me and I said yes" she told to pooja , her face glowing with happiness.

"Oh my God!" pooja squealed with excitement hugging back her friend."Tell me everything" Naina informed her about the last night events. Both of them laughed .They got ready quickly and went to canteen . They met their friends and pooja informed everyone about the happy news. They cheered for naina and hugged her , their friend and their sir got the happiness they deserved.

She waited for him but he did not appear for break-fast. She went to his quarters and found that he went out . She met Abhimnayu on the way and enquired about Raj. He told her that Raj went to a meeting and would return by evening. she left disappointed. I should have met him early in the morning. She cursed herself for not waking up early. Since she found him after the pain of separation, she wanted to be with him every moment even though she know that is not possible in the academy.

She stayed in library till evening, studying for her exams. They helped her to be distracted for some time but she could not help thinking about him time-to-time. She waited eagerly for him and went to his room in the evening only to find the lock on the door.

She lost her appetite and did not want to go for dinner but pooja persuaded her and took her to the dining room. She completed her dinner and was about to leave to her room when she saw that his door was open. She rushed into his room and closed the door behind her.

Raj saw her and smiled at her. But she did not smile back. She stared at him with a look of anger and disappointment on her face. "What happened naina?" he asked her touching her cheek gently. She removed his hand "I have been waiting for you since morning like a idiot and you did not even bother to call me and inform me that you were going to be late. I don't want to talk to you" she said in a complaining tone.

He looked at her smiling inwardly. She was acting like a stubborn kid. He held her hand and took her to the balcony and closed her eyes with his hand. She tried to protest but he requested her to not open her eyes until he said so. Finally, he asked her to open her eyes and she saw the full moon in the sky and for a moment, she stood admiring it. When she turned, she looked at him speechless. He took the diamond ring from the box and slipped it on her finger and kissed her palm.

She stared at it without blinking her eyes and looked at him with surprise and happiness. I was late because after the meeting, I went to purchase it. I proposed yesterday without this and so, I brought it for you . I hope you like it"

She hugged him "I am sorry. It is very beautiful and I love it" she said . He kissed her forehead. "It is a symbol of our love. I want you to wear it always" he said. "Ofcourse! I am not going to take it ever, not for the world" she replied.

"By the way, when you were scolded me for being late, you sounded like my wife" he said it in a mischievous tone. She looked at him and blushed. "Goodnight" she said to him before running back to her room.

She entered the room and stared at the ring on her finger unbelievably and kissed it.
His words repeated in her mind. "Yes! This is the symbol of our love" she repeated herself.

Sorry for the delay guys. Now-a-days, I am really busy with my work. Thanks for being patient with me and here is the update.

Part 7:

Naina was in her reverie , obviously day-dreaming about her future. She came out of it when she heard sounds of laughter . she saw that all of her friends were smiling at her. They were observing naina since she got lost in her dream world. Pooja had told all of them how naina had practically stared at the ring throughout the night smiling herself.

"Naina! You are going to have the ring and him throughout your life. I think we must go to library now" yudi said smiling at her. Naina felt a little embrassed. "Keep ur voice low yudi and guys please don't talk about this infront of other people. Luckily, nobody are there in the canteen now. Don't forget that I haven't completed my training yet. "

Everyone promised her that this news would be kept secret .They went to the library. Naina sulked at seeing the number of books she had to read. She neglected her studies since Raj's accident and all the pain she was put through and then the excitement of his return . There was a lot of portion to read and she can't let him down. She promised him she would be the best cadet.she had to keep her promise.

She had been studying so late in the library that she did not observe her friends left to their rooms. She was so tired and rested her head on the book. She did not know when she fell asleep. Raj entered the library for referring some details in the database. He was about to go near the computer when he saw naina at the nearby table. There were no one in the library. Probably her friends had left to their rooms

He watched her to his heart's content. She looked so innocent and peaceful while sleeping. He did not had the heart to wake up her. He saw that few strands of her hair falling on her face made her stir slightly in her sleep and he tucked them behind , his fingers brushing her cheek slightly in the process and she felt his touch instantly and got up .

She rubbed her eyes and saw that they were alone in the library." When did you come here?" she asked him. "Just a few minutes back and you were sleeping so peacefully. So, I did not want to disturb you.By the way, you look so cute while you are sleeping"

She blushed a little and smiled at him. she wanted to stay with him but she knew that they had to wait for some more time. She took her things and stepped ahead . They told good-night to each other and she stopped and turned back suddenly . she came near him .He looked at her surprised. She hugged him "I don't want to go " she said like a stubborn kid.

"Naina! It's already late. You have to go now" he said to her although he didn't wanted her to leave. "I did not say good-night to you properly" she said. "You have told me already" he said smiling at her reasons to be with him. "I said I did not say it properly"

"Huh" he looked at her. There was mischief in her eyes. Before he could react, she kissed his cheek and left the room saying goodnight , smiling at him.

Raj stood there smiling for a moment at her mischief .He was surprised at this side of her. But love does strange things to people. He shook his head. They had to really control till her graduation. Perhaps they would not distract each other till her exams are finished, if he stays distant for a while.

That's it for today.I know it's not much. In the past, whenever my favourite fics were not updated, I used to wonder why the authors can't find time to update them .Now, I have understood how it feels to have the responsibility of updating the fic. Sorry, once again for the wait. Hopefully, next part will be soon, my fingers are crossed. Please don't forget to give your comments.
