Maan: umm...Yaseen, is all that crowd cleared from office premises ?

Yaseen: Yes Sir. We have finally managed to made them leave though some media ppl were demanding ur presence.

Maan: hmm...good. Yaseen, we have some imp. clients coming in few mins. so I don't want any paparazzi or unwanted ppl around KC. I don't any scene to be created by any1.

Yaseen: i got it Sir. U don't have to worry abt it.

Maan: I know Yaseen, u do ur job very well. There is 1 more thing I want u to do.

Yaseen: Tell sir.

Maan: See these are foreign clients & well renowned ppl of business fraternity. So, I want them total comfort herein. So, when they arrive at KC, U make sure that U personally receive them & escort them up here to the conference room. No mistake, I repeat No mistake.

Yaseen: Okay sir. I'l receive them & get them to u. Don't worry. ur prestige is everything for me sir.

Maan: hmm...okay then buzz me when they arrive.

Yaseen: Right sir.

Maan hungs the phone & gets up from his seat went out straight away to the conference room where all his staff was already there waiting for him.

Inside the conference room along with Dhruv, other ppl who were waiting for their boss Adi, Gaurav, Diyali, Ramit, Roshani, Koel, Kartik- all MSK's trusted & loyal employees. For them loyalty towards MSK was like they can once betray their life but not MSK. They know he is very rude, angered, strict- all in all extremely Khadoos but they know very well that MSK cares for his staff as much as he cares for his family. He wud never except that he cares but then he does. His actions says it all. Hence, they respect him a lot. They know since the office is a professional place where certain decorum has to be maintained & when you run such a big empire you can't be all lovey-dovey & sweet to ur employees else work wud suffer which MSK can never tolerate as for him work is worship.

Maan entered the conf. room wid his typical MSK attitude. The moment he stepped in a pin drop silence prevailed in the room. All get up from their seats & greeted him good morning. He, ofcourse dint reply & just nodded in response (me wondering who will expect MSK replying 😆 ). He reached his place & got seated & then every1 else also took their places.

Maan: So I hope everything is in place wid regard to the following meeting we have in few mins. ?

Adi: Yes sir, we are all set & looking forward to the meeting.

Maan: hmm...so Adi have u studied the financial status ?

Adi: hehehe...(typical Adi laugh) Yes sir. I guess it wud be profitable deal for Khurrana's.

Maan: hmm... looking towards Diyali he asked her : So Diyali, wot do u think how wud the mrkt wud respond to this deal ?

Diyali (frowned being called Diyali instead of Dia but composed herself & said): MK as per my study the mrkt is quite excited abt this alliance. The KPFF is a renowned company across the globe & its their very 1st project in India & ofcourse being the leading const. company they have chosen us to work wid & it is proving to be extremely good for us.

Maan: That sounds good. Kartik you better be caredul wid all media things. You know how Indian media is & I don't them spoiling anything.

Kartik: Don't worry sir, I'l handle it all.

Maan: hmm...so Dhruv wots ur take on this project ??

Dhruv(smiled): All I wud say don't miss out on it. It damn good deal, MK.

Maan(grinned on his gesture): Okay, so when u all think likewise let them come & we'l have it all for ourselves. Anyways, Rashani where is Jai? He shud have been here by now. Have u informed him?

Roshani: Sir, I have told him abt meeting & he said he wud receive the clients by himself & will come them only.

Maan: okay. Thinking to himself: The moment I think its time to make Jay realize more of his responsibility he does sumthing which shows he's learning everything by himself only. Good to see this side of him.

Just then Maan's cell buzzed. Its Yaseen & he knew clients have arrived.He picked his cell.

Maan: Yes

Yaseen: Sir, they are here & me & Jai sir are bringing them up.

Maan: Ok & cuts the call. They have arrived & will be here shortly.Be ready.

All nodded.Just then Jai entered the room followed by some 4 whites & then Yaseen. Maan got up from his chair as Jai & the whites approached him. Jai began to introduce them wid Maan.

Jai: Mr. Khurrana [yes, infront of clients he is as professional as his brother 😊], this Mr. Steve, the CEO KPFF Chicago branch, Mr. Fisher Bill- Mrkt researcher, Miss Katheriene- Strategy analyst & Mr. Jermy Fox- representative of KPFF in Asia. And, ppl he is Mr. Maan Singh Khurrana, the heir of Khurrana Empire.

They all shook their hands wid Maan & exchanged some greetings after which Maan asked them to take their respective seats. Jai sat beside Maan. Maan gestured Jai to make them begin the convo.

Jai: Shall we start discussing the purpose of out meeting ?

Mr. Steve: Yes sure. And he gestured Mr. Fox to continue.

Fox: Mr. Khurrana as you very well know that ours is a US based company wid several branches across the globe including Asia i.e. Dubai. But now we see India as a very good mrkt & want to invest here as well. Since we are mainly indulge in construction so we wanted to continue wid the same. But our 1st & foremost need is to setup an office herein India so we can easily operate here. And, since we have decided to alliance wid KC we want u to start wid our office only & then the other projects.

Maan: Ok, I understand wot u want to say & we are privileged that u have consider us to work with.

Fox(interrupting him, oops cutting MSK not happening😆): No, no Mr. Khurrana privilege is all ours. We have heard ur name & have analysed ur work & are quite impressed hence it was our wish to work wid & probably we only needed a reason to work wid u.

Maan( chest became 36 to 40 wid praise & proud): Thnx Mr. Fox. So, have u decided over the place where u want to set up ur branch office?

Mr. Bill: Yes Mr. Khurrana we have. We want it in Pune.

Maan: Why Pune?

Miss Katheriene: coz its an emerging mrkt for both IT & const. industry & it will handful to set up there plus its quite near to Mumbai which means less costing also.

Maan(din't give any expression as he was expecting the very same ans.😉): Okay, we are okay wid the place. Have seen any site? Or u want us to show u some?

Mr. Fox: Mr. Khurrana we have seen some but we din't like, so we won't mind u showing us some.

Maan nodded & then he gestured Ramit to start the projector & show the sites their site engineer Salil has shrt listed for this very project.

Yes, MSK has already selected few😆 & that's the reason he's so successful coz he knows wot it wud need to be done.👍🏼

Ramit got up & went towards projector & then started the presentation.

Ramit: Gentlemen & Ma'am, since u want our opinion we have some ideas as our site engineer has sort listed some land sites which might suits ur project. Here we go.

The slide showed some land areas in the outskirts of Pune not very far away but a marginal distance.At the end of the last slide Salil appeared addressing the ppl in meeting esp. Maan.

Salil: MK, as u have asked I had a tour of all these sites & as per the requirement of project I found this place best suitable. Its not very far from city, have good conveyance facility already plus a few kilometers away there is a govt. housing project going on which wud defo. gonna give a support to ours. So, from all I wud suggest this 1, rest depends on clients.

Ramit turned off the projector & took his seat back.

Maan: Since, u ppl have now seen wot our engineer has to say abt it, its ur time to decide wot suits u best.

Mr. Steve: Well, Mr. Khurrana I must say I am impressed wid ur work. U have already done the needed. Now I know why ur work is appreciated everywhere. I have no doubts abt ur pick, so we wud like to go wid wot ur engineer has suggested.

He got up from his seat & walked towards Maan. Maan to got up.

Steve(forwarding his hand): Congratz Mr. Khurrana! The deal is on. But as of now we wud like take ur leave as we all are tired & then the jet-lag, so we need rest. Wud meet day after 2moro to discuss further & ofcourse site tour as well.

Maan: Alright, Mr. Steve. we have no problem wid it.

Steve: Thnx. Plz carry on wid ur work & thnx again for giving us ur precious time.

Maan: Ur welcome Mr. Steve.

All for whites left the room & Jai went wid them. Here in conf. room all over delighted for getting the projected. They were happy coz the clients have appreciated Maan's effort. They congratulated each other & Maan as well.

Maan: Congratz to u all as well as widout ur support it wudn't have been possible. But now get back to ur work as we have lot more to come now.

All nodded & left for their work except Dhruv & Adi.

Dhruv went near Maan & hugged him.

Dhruv: Congs MK for another victory.

Maan: to u as well. Adi, I want all financial details of this project so start working on it.

Adi: Right sir. And he left.

Dhruv: So MK, wot next.

Maan: Don't u want relax a bit?

Dhruv raised his brows asking wot.

Maan: well, I thot since u hv wroked hard over it wid Salil I thot to give a u break for a day as I have given Salil a 1. But if u don't want then come to my cabin I have plenty of work waiting out for u.

Dhruv: hell no. Ofcourse I need a break. And, wot Salil already on break. thats not fair.

Maan: Well, he did quite much more work than u. And he smirked.

Dhruv: do u ever think that I work more than any1 else in ur staff, ever? Anyways, leave it I don't want spoil my off wid u rather I'd spent it wid my sweet dadima. So bye & hv nice day.

Maan: Bye & ur having dinner wid us, rite?

Dhruv: Are u asking?

Maan: No am telling u.

Dhruv(wid a lop sided smile): phir thik hai see ya at dinner.

Dhruv left & Maan to left for his cabin.

So, peeps this was the update where I tried to show wot kind of business man Maan is & how is his staff. I thot it was necessary to show his business & working coz my track has lot more office-office 😉. Hit like if u like it & drop comment how u feel abt it. Tk cr.
