Rajeev: I will bring my princess down.Aaj uske sath he breakfast karunga.

Saying so he made his way upstairs towards her room.He knocked the door & slightly opened it.He peeped inside & stood froze with the sight in font of him. There lying his princess on the bed sleeping ever so peacefully with no worries, no fear , no tension around & a satisfied smile was playing on her lips. He silently prayed to god to keep her always like this. He stood at the door for sometime & admired her & the room.

imagine this as Geet's room.

The whole room was designed according to her choice. The color of the room was white, with white curtains, white sofa, white table. The bed was no exception. It was also in white covered wid white bed-sheet & pillows. It was all white coz her favorite color is white & she has got her room designed esp. as per her liking. And she was the princess of her dad, she got all wot she asked for. Even Rajeev got the best home decor to help her. He wanted her get the best coz she deserves nothing but the best. He remembered how much excited she was while renovating her room. And, in her excitement she had kept him on his toes to do all the needed. He simply followed her instructions coz there was no other choice. He smiled as he remembered the sweet memory.

After admiring the room, he again looked at her who was still sleeping dressed in her white nite dress looking no less than an angel. And, then her room too gives a heavenly look. He then observed her. She was sleeping on her stomach, facing towards doorside. Her face was half covered wid hair. Her hands were hanging in air & her legs were resting on the headrest of the bed. He wondered when will she learn that the headrest is to put head on it & not the legs. Why can't she sleep like normal people? Why she has to sleep in that awkward position, keeping head at end of bed & legs on the headrest & then her hands will always be hanging in air. He gaze went to her hands & he saw that she was holding something. He shook his head in disbelief that she can never change. He pushed the door & opened it fully & put the stopper down to keep the door open. He then moved towards the bed & grabbed the book she was holding & keep it aside. He gently caressed her head & then called her softly,

" princess, utho!" No response.

He again whispered near her ear :hey bachha, get up.Its 8 in morning.

"umm...plz sone dena Raj"

He smiled. She recognized his voice in her deep sleep but he knew she must dreaming & in trance of her dream din't realize that he is here. He slightly shook her but she din't budge. He sighed wid deep breathe. He knew wot his last option is. He charged up himself. He knelt down on 1 knee, moved closer to her ear & then,

"CHINKIII" he screamed on the top of his voice & instantly got up moved out of room & sat on the railing of staircase (that's why he kept door open as backup). Meanwhile she got scared wid the scream & fell from the bed & looked here & there wid her droopy eyes & baffled.

"kaun hai ?? kaun hai ??"

Rajeev cudn't help it & laughed out loud. He kept laughing holding his stomach at the sight infront of him. She looked in his direction & was shocked to see him there & laughing madly, ofcourse at her. In no time she knew it was him who had done all this. She got up from the floor & shouted, "youuu...You idiot, moron, stupid, mindless monkey...am not gonna leave u...ur so dead now!"

Wid that said she ran behind him towards the stairs & he ran for his life. (me wondering does he have anything else to do then to run for his life...:P).

Rajeev immediately got up from the stairs & ran down. She too ran behind him wid her 1 slipper in her hand wid which she's gonna hit him. He ran towards dinning area still laughing. Rano & Mohinder looked at him puzzled but as soon as they her they knew wot wud have happened. Mohinder saw her running madly behind him. He feared she might get fall so he said,

" GEET, beta thoda sambhal ke"

But she was nowhere to listen & she cud care less at the moment. Geet ran behind as he went past the living room & was now in the garden.

imagine this as garden premises of Handa Palacio.

He was panting heavily & so was she. She knew she won't able to catch him so 1st she threw her slipper on him which he easily dodged away & then she fell on her knees keeping her hands on her waist sides & tried to catch her breathe. He too stopped running by then & came to her. Though he knew her trap but he was more than willing to give in. He too sat beside her & after a moment she grabbed his hand started hitting him. He tried to protest & save himself but all in vain. He knew he has awakened the Punjab Sherni & now he has to pay for it. Finally he managed to say,

"arre sorry yaar." She din't stop.

"Geet, mujhe lag rahi hai. Tu kya mujhe maar daalegi, huh ?? Ek fauji ko aise shaheed hona padega kya ??"

Geet: "yeh mujhe neend mein darane se pehle sochna tha"

Raj: arre meri maa, galati ho gayi.

Geet : Galati my foot! Koi aise uthata hai kya kisiko ??( me thinking koi khumbhkaran ki tarah soye toh kya karein ) Agar ma\ujhe heart attack ho jata toh...uar hey babaji...agar main marr jati toh !!

Raj:" maine tujhe kitne pyar se kitni aawaaz di par tu toh ghode bech k so rahi thi to main kya karta aur phir aisa mauka kitne time baad mila tha toh main waste kaise jane deta isse aur haan jo dusro ko heat attack dete hain unko attack nahi aata !!" Saying so he grinned & for that he got some more knocks. "Achha baba main tere per(leg/feet) padta hoon mujhe baksh de"

Geet : hmm...that's better!

Raj sighed & thot better huh...itna maar k bhi bas better but din't utter it.

Both got up & Geet asked : tu kab aaya?? koi phone bhi nahi kiya na msg. Hey Babaji, aajkal toh log kuch batane ka toh koi farz he nahi samajhte.

Raj : ohho...batata toh surprise kaise deta, duffer! Aur yeh kya, main itne time baad aaya hoon & na koi hug & na koi greeting seedha attack. Aisa toh jung mein bhi nahi hota.

Saying so he made an angry face & turned.She came around & smiled & hugged him in a bone-crushing hug. He too hugged her back.

Geet : I missed u yaar.

Raj smiled : me too.

Geet: And waise I did greet u upstairs, she said grinningly.

Raj : yaah, if those profanities were greetings...

He broke the hug & said," Chal ab andar chalte hain warna maa-papa ko yakeen ho jayega ki aaj koi na koi zarur shaheed ho gaya hai."

Both laughed & made thier way inside chatting & giggling.

Mohinder & Rano looked at them coming & a smile crept on thier lips seeing the loving bond b/w the two.

They both settled on chairs just then Geet remembered something & almost shouted, "Shit!"

Mohinder looked at her in shock & concern & asked: kya hua beta ?

Geet: uhh...nothing dad woh iss bandar(pointing at Raj) ke chakkar mein toh main brush karna he bhool gayi.

Raj interrupted: oye bandar kisse bola ??

Geet (rolled her eyes): obviously tujhe. anyways, dad i'l be here in 10mins u carry on.

saying so she made her towards her room then to washroom. She came down in 15mins & found every1 waiting for her.

Geet: sorry-sorry...late ho gaya.

Raj tauntingly said: Maa, time ki toh logo ko koi value he nahi hai !

Geet wacked his arm for his tantrums & sat beside him.

All smiled & started breakfast.

Raj: oye aaj tera clg nahi hai kya jo ab tak so rahi thi ?

Geet: umm...nahi am not going 2day. Koi khas lec. nahi hai & then Bani also not cuming.

Raj: ok..

Rano: par why were u sleeping till so late ?? (me thinking mom take a chill-oill yaar)

Before Geet cud say Mohinder said: ohho...woh raat ko der tak padhti hai toh uthne mein late ho jata hai kabhi-2, hai naa puttar?? Saying so he looked at Geet & winked.

Geet smiled weakly & said: yeah!

Raj: oh really, Chinki? waise which book u were reading i mean sub. ?

Geet (stammered at his querry): uhh..wo..woh

Raj: achha wahi jo tere hath mein thi ??

Geet then remembered she was reading Mills & Boons in nite & slept while reading & she knew Raj has seen the book & now pulling her leg.

Geet: arre haan Golu..wahi book padh rahi thi.. she said wid confidence.

Raj: woh kaun sa sub. hai Chinki ?? he asked wid a wicked smile on his face.

Geet (fumbled a bit) : woh Lo...woh law i mean criminal law.

Raj smiled wickedly at her reply as he knew she was abt to say LOVE.

Geet just shot him an angry glare & he muffled his laughter somehow.

Well, this was Geet. She loves to read romantic novels, watches romantic movies infact her fav. movie is Shah Rukh's "DDLJ" which she has seen atleast 40 times or maybe more. She loves the characters Raj & Simran & adores their love or rather say she is head over heels for their love but she knows that Raj & Simran are fictitious & they exist on-screen only. Its not like she doesn't believe in love. Ofcourse she do believe in Love but on the other side she was practical too & believed that she's not made for love & all stuffs. She somewhere in her heart believed that she might never fall in love coz of her practical approach for life. Sometimes she wud become all philosophical & wud admire other ppl who are in love. Her own parents had love marriage & she adored their ever so young love. Raj always teases her that 1 day she'l definitely fall in love & that too irrevocably & she wud laugh it out & said there is no way thru which love will enter my life. But least did she know that LOVE doesn't need any carved path to walk on coz Love makes it own path & " LOVE WILL FIND A WAY" to her life too when the time will come.

Handa family had their meals & Mohinder went to his work. Rano too had some appointments wid some NGO she was associated so she too went leaving Raj & Geet at home. Both made their way to Geet's room as they had lots of talks to do after all both are meeting after whole 10 months.

On the other hand, Maan was not at all a believer of love. He hates the word love to the core. He can't understand how ppl fall for some1 & how can some1 become so imp. ? Though he has witnessed so many love sick ppl around him & his own brother Jai was no exception but still it was hard fact for him to swallow down. Jai wud often say to him that Love is best feeling in world & that's why ppl fall in love. To which Maan wud say " If it is so ethereally beautiful or heavenly feeling then why people always fall in love but never rise an inch !!" Ofcourse Jai din't have answer to it & so he wud keep shut. Maan had made his heart like rock & promised himself that he will never fall in love & wud never let a gal becum imp. in his life or rule his heart. Least he knows that some promises are meant to be broken.
