Hello peeps, how are you all ?? I am giving another update today to you all with a hope that you all will like it & comment how do u find it. I request all silent reader to do drop their views as well so I can make my work a bit more better. Thnx for all love & support.
Not taking much time, here we go.
Maan went in his cabin & sat on his chair & leaned back to relax for sometime. The meeting has been carried for good 3hrs & was quite demanding as well. Since, he has lot of work ahead it wudn't be bad to relax for sometime, he thought.
He thot how everything falling in place for him now. He has got everything he ever wanted but still sometimes he feels a void. Wot is it, he cudn't figure out the answer. But he was satisfied the way life & his business was moving, rest all he din't either want to know or maybe wot he did not know was, that time held answers.! From tomorrow(don't tk literal 2moro its cumin time), a journey would begin- an enthralling journey- that would change his life for ever.! Shrugging off every single thot from his mind he spun his chair around & closed his eyes. And, again those beautiful eyes were visible. He thot great! But then smiled a bit(ofcourse an invisible 1 😉) knowing that these eyes always made him relaxed, why he don't know. He tried to focus on the eyes to get a better view maybe he can recognize them. On concentrating highly he cud see the eyes which to him seems they eyes of a young kid maybe of 9-10 yrs old. But again the ques. remains d same who's the this person? His thots were disrupted by a knock on the door of his cabin.
Maan(snapping out of his thots, still in same position): Come in.
Jai came inside his cabin. He looked at his chair which was facing towards the window & he knew his brother is relaxing. He cursed himself mentally for disturbing him at this moment as he knew Maan wudn't rest once Jai leave his cabin. But wot now, damage has been done. He was brought back from his reverie wid Maan's voice.
Maan: Yes?
Jai(cleared his throat):ahem...Congratz bro!
Maan(instantly turned around): To u as well.
Jai: Its really a big venture for us bro.
Maan: It is indeed.
Jai: All credit goes to u. U exactly knew how we cud get this.That's amazing.
Maan(wid a very slight mind it very slight smile hardly noticeable): Nopes, its not only me who deserves the credit but all ppl associated wid this project deserves. U see 1 man can't win a war.
Jai: But an army can & YOU are indeed a ONE MAN ARMY, bro! 😉 He chuckled at his statement though he meant it sincerely.
Maan: Ok, now stop flattering me. And, by the way I like ur gesture of receiving the clients by urself though it wasn't needed but I am happy that u learning the courtesy of business.
Jai(smilingly😊): Thnx bro. Sab aapse he seekh raha hoon.
Maan: U know Jai its really good if u can learn business ethics esp. which Dadima & Dad had followed thru out their lives. Even all I am doing is trying to get in their shoes.
Jai: Bro, I know that. But all want to do is try to get in ur shoes coz I guess to get in their shoes is ur job. 😉
Maan(shook his head on his naughtiness): Okay, so tell me Mr. Jai Singh Khurrana don't u have any work waiting that ur are flattering ur boss or ur in mood to cancel ur dinner meeting tonite ?? Saying so Maan smirked.
Jai(stunned by wot Maan said): No, no bro! Noways. Am going to my cabin. Just wanted to tell u that I'l be leaving a bit early & if u need file or something from my cabin waise toh u can go & take by urself but I know u won't so u feel free to call Roshani & she'l help u out but plz bro don't scold her. She's sweet gal & wud get scared if u scold her & I can't afford to lose my secretary.
Maan(raising an eyebrow ): Achha & why is that so ?
Jai(sensing hiMaan's suspicion): Toh bro wot u want? Main bhi apki tarah bina secretary ke kaam chalau. Ya phir apne acctt. ko acctt. cum sec. ka job de doon. And, am afraid if Adi wud be able to handle so much.
Maan(rolled his eyes on the sarcasm): Wotever! Anyways U better leave now else u wud get late for dinner.
Jai: Yep bro. Bye!
And Jai left his cabin & Maan got immersed in his work.
Meanwhile at Handa Palacio:
Geet & Raj sat on her bed wid their coffee mugs in hand. They talked abt everything from her clg life to his cant life, from boys to gals, from movies to sports or wot not. Then suddenly Raj remembered something & said in a loud voice.
Raj: Oye teri, gadbad ho gayi Chinki!
Geet(confused😕): ab kya hua??
Raj: arre yaar i forgot to call my other Devil sis. Jab se aaya hoon am engrossed in ur silly talks forgetting abt her.
Geet(frowned): hmmm...now I'l make sure she doesn't talk to u.
Raj(shocked😲 & confused): huh ?? Wot ?? why?
Geet: well, 1st u cald both of us Devil, then u cald my talks silly & finally u put the whole blame on me for not calling her. So, wot do u expect from me now, huh??
Raj( rubbing his forehead murmurer under his breath): kaha phas gaya yaar!
To his good fortune Geet dint hear his murmuring.
Raj: Arre I dint mean that yaar. Tu toh bina baat ke gussa ho rahi hai. Actually, I was busy for past 1 week & so dint call her plus she's not aware that am at home now, pata nahi kaise react karegi.Bas issi tension mein bol diya.
Geet(screamed wid shock😲): Wot ?? U dint call her for past 1 week?? How cud u Raj??
Raj: Yaar, we had a sudden drill & I dint get any time.
Geet(sighed): ohh..ok! Now wot?
Raj: umm...U cal her & ask her to come over video conferencing & then I'l talk to her.
Geet: U sure?? Ur inviting trouble making me cal her.
Raj: do u hv any better option?
Geet(wid a slight smile): nopes.
Raj: Then do as I say. I know how to manaofy my sisters.
Geet chuckled at this & took out her cell to call her twin sis, Shagun.
In Germany:
A gal's phone kept on buzzing for the 5th time now but she was nowhere to pick it up. It was around 8am in Berlin & ofcourse the gal was in her dreamland. But the continuous ringing of her cell irritated her & she finally decided to give the damn person a pece of her mind for ruining her swwet sleep.
Gal(yelling😡): Hello! Who the hell is this calling this early? wot prob do u hv ??Or is it that ur ass has been put on fire??If so then cal fire Brigid! wot urgency u hv tht u can't wait for sometime & are hell bent on ruining my sleep?? Now, speak up u idiot or are u deaf or wait are u dumb??
Geet(babaji, how fast she talks even a bullet will be ashamed infornt of her😉): Hi,Shagun!
Shagun(hearing her sweet sis's voice all her anger replaced wid love):Geet tu! Sorry yaar I yelled on u. I thot pata nahi kaun KDP (Khote da puttar) hai !
Geet: Its ok, sis. Kaisi hai & why are u still sleeping ?
Shagun: Am good. And, its Germany & its still 8am here.
Geet: oh yaah I 4got. Anyways, come over skype now got something to tell u rather show u.
Shagun: And wot it is?
Geet: have patience bachha & come on video cal. Bye.
Before Shagun cud say anything Geet cut the cal. She gave a hi-5 to Raj.
Geet: my work done, its all urs now.
Raj: yeah. I guess am dead now.🤢
Shagun took her lappy & turned it on & went to washroom to freshen up. She came back & connected d internet device & logged in to skype. The moment she logged in she saw a ping from Geet & instantly opened d browser.
Shagun saw thru web cam, Geet's room was visible but no Geet. She thot maybe she must roaming around so she cald her name.
Shagun: Geet!
No response.
Shagun(a bit louder): Geet. nothing.
Shagun(screamed): GEET !!
Raj instantly appeared in front of the cam.Shagun was hell shocked & angry seeing him dere.
Shagun (😡): U, donkey, monkey, idiot, stupid, moron! Wot are u doing dere??
Raj(self: mere naseeb mein sirf yeh madhur shabd he hain😔): wot do u mean wot am I doing here? Its my home yaar. Geet smacked his arm immediately fr provoking her more.
Shagun: yeah, i know that u jerk. But my ques. is when did u cum dere & hw cum I dnt knw abt it??
Raj: will u plz stop assaulting me wid ur words? Kuch toh izzat kar!
Shagun: Oh yaah! well u dnt deserve any. Nw ans me.
Raj(sighed): Ok! I came in morning only. I cudnt cal u coz I had a sudden drill which kept me occupied whole last week & I myself had no idea if I wud be able to cum home or not as my leave got approved yesterday morning only. And, since I hadnt packed so I got involve in packing & then I drove from Jaiselmair to Jaipur whole 700kms. & then boarded a early morning flight to here. And, in the midst of this I seriously dint get any time to cal any1. I dint even cal dad, yaar. So, plz gussa mat ho yaar.
Shagun(listened to him peacefully & ws convinced): Raj, how do u always get these bahanas to save ur self?
Raj: bahana nahi hai sachhi.
Shagun: Geet, don't hide. Tune bataya kyu ni?
Geet: He askd me not too. Anyways now stop this monkey-cat fight.
Raj & Shagun(😲) : Wot ??
Geet: Oh c'on, nw dnt act all shocked! So, shaggy- piggy hows it goin dere ??😉
Shagun: Geet ki bachhi tujhe toh main waha aa kar dekhungi!
Raj: bachpan se ab tak sirf dekhti aa rahi hai. Saying so he gave a hi-5 to Geet.
shagun(highly irritated): Arrghhh...u two! Forget it! U r disgusting.
All 3 carried on for sometime & then Shagun bid them bye as she had to attend clg.
In evening Maan made his way for home. he reached home a bit early around 7pm. He entered the mansion only to be greeted by Dhruv & Dadima.
Dadima: Arre Maan, aap aaj jaldi kaise aa gaye?
Maan(going towards her): Dadima, kam jaldi khatam ho gaya toh main jaldi aa gaya.
He sat on the couch in front of Dhruv & Dadima.
Dadima: yeh toh aapne bahut achha kiya.
Dhruv: So, dude how was rest of the day?
Maan: umm...nice!
Dhruv(whispered to Dadima): nice my foot! I am sure isne lunch bhi nahi kiya hoga!
Maan(knotting his brows): wot are u whispering to Dadima?
Dadima: kuch nahi beta, woh hum keh rahe the ki aap coffee pehle lenge ya pehle fresh honge?
Maan: umm...I guess coffee first.
He cald nakul & ask to bring his coffee. Nakul bring his coffe & tea for rest two.
Dadima: Maan, am really impressed. Apna subah jo vada kiya tha woh pura kiya.
Maan(wid full attitude): Dadima, Maan Singh Khurran apna vada kabhi nahi todta!
Dhruv: haan, woh toh dusro ko todta hai.😆
Dadima & Dhruv laughed while Maan shot a deathly glare to Dhruv making him shut.
Dhruv: MK, this is not fair dude. Dadima. pata hai yeh clg mein bhi aise he aankhein dikhata tha & sab yehi kehte the ki Dhruv nahi infact Maan, Dhruv ka senior hai.
Maan grinned over his comment.
Dhruv: Dekha dadima aapne.
Dadima: ab kya kahein hum dhruv, yeh toh hume bhi apni badi-badi aankhein dikha ke chup kar dete hain. Pata nahi iss duniya kaun hoga jo inko chup kara sake.
Maan starred her.
Dadima: ab ghoor kya rahe hain aap, thik he toh keh rahe hain hum. Sach Maan aap bilkul apne Dada ji par gaye hain. Gussa aur attitude toh bas naak par sawaar rehta hai.
Maan: Dadima, ab bas bhi kijiye. Ek toh main aapke liye jaldi aaya aur aap hai ki meri taang kheench rahi hain iske sath.
Dhruv: toh wot did u think hum yeh golden chance jane dete aur tumhari aarti utarte!
Maan(sighed & got up): U 2 plz continue, main fresh ho kar aata hoon.
Dadima & Dhruv laughed at their small victory.Maan came down in half an hour & found them both on dinning table waitng for him. he went dere & sat on his seat. Nakul served food to all. They had their dinner talking here & dere & Maan ofcourse giving his ans. in his famous monosyllables "hmm & umm".
Meanwhile in Handa Palacio, the Handa family too was having there dinner. It was a family dinner after long time.
Raj: It feel heavenly to hv dinner wid family.
Mohinder: Right son. Bas missing shagun.
Rano: haan, woh bhi hoti toh achha hota par apne he bheja hai usko itni dur.
Geet: Mom, dad ne usse studies ke liye bheja hai & waise bhi yeh uska dream tha & how cum papa not fulfill it.
Rano: Here goes, papa's daughter.
Geet: Toh, amin apne papa ki pari hoon. & hugged Mohinder sideways.
Raj: Don't worry Maa, am ur superman.
All laughed.
Mohinder: Bhai ek baat to hai. The family that eats together, prays together (all 4 said in unison) Stays together.
They had here dinner wid their loving talks. After dinner Mohinder & Rano went to their rooms bidding Gnite to their children.
In Raj's room:
Geet: oye Raj, sun na!
Raj(watching soccer): hmm...bol Chinki
Geet: yaar tu kya football lekar baith gaya. Itne din baad aaya hai lets hv sm fun na.
Raj(twitching off TV): hmm...wot fun ?
Geet(thinking): umm...chal na thodi tafri(hang out) kar ke aate hain.
Raj: tafri ?? iss time?
Geet: yaar abhi sirf 10pm baje hain.C'on
Raj: umm...ok but kaha?
Geet(twinkle in her eyes): wahi apni secret place.
Raj(equally excited): Ohh..yes! So, chal lets go.
Geet: But we'll take ur car.
Raj: Geet, when I am not around here & my car is all on ur mercy u never took it but wid me u always want to go in it only, why?
Geet: Ohho, there are 2 reasons. 1st- I love the ride in ur car.
Raj(interrupting): Then why u nvr take it wid u when am not here?
Geet(wid sad face😔): reason 2- I miss u badly when u go on ur job & if I take ur car then I wud land myself in much more of emotional turmoil coz ur car will remind me the fun we together hv. So, I prefer not taking it.
Raj(going all emotional): Ohh my sweet baby...come give me a hug.
They hugged each other lovingly & Raj kissed her cheek & said: mera pyaara bachcha.
Raj & Geet silently made their way outside towards garage. Raj took the car out. Both sat in & drove away to their destination.
Meanwhile in Khurrana Mansion after dinner Dhruv had left to his place & Dadima & Maan too retired to their rooms. Maan was lying on his bed while sleep was far away. He was tossing & twisting in his bed but all in vein.Finally, he got up frustrated. He went to his wardrobe wore his shirt, took the keys of 1 of his fav. sports car & made his way out of his room. He came in to corridor, it was dark. He silently sneaked out widout making any noise.He dint want his dadima to get up & bombard him wid her numerous ques. He reached garage took his car & drove off towards his fav. place where he always finds solace & peace.
