I am a ardent book lover and love writing poems and few stories. So i KNOW how much of work an author puts into- before updating or publishing it.

If a person is not comfortable reading something- he/she can as well close the window and leave. What are kids below 15 -14 doing here? Its is not the Author's fault.

Its like asking a public library to not put any books other than Enid Blyton, Snow white and Treasure Island.

If a person doesn't like a book or movie - he wont ask the author to stop writing or the director to stop making the movie, instead would look for books or movies he like or are of his frequency.

THIS is what i felt after reading "pandora's box" and commented on her work.

"hey!

this is the 1st time i read the FF. been reading it for past 2 hours. I generally like works easily, because a lot of the Author's time energy and imagination are put into it.

But very few leave an impression. there are so many thing about this FF i wanna tell you- that i loved.

1st- thank you for portraying friendship so beautifully! I love and respect that relation like nothing else. i believe true friends are rear and few- i am glad i have them and can never imagine being away from them (as in death . . . ) Akash -Rushtam ! god I wanted to run and hug my friends and tell them I love them. Their pure innocent relationship, Akash's agony - god! can't stop the lump forming in my throat and the tears welling up.

2nd- Khushi and Arnav- half the relations in real life break because of said words and half break because of unsaid words. talking or communicating their feeling one way or the other is so important! they are still developing that- and man they are doing it beautifully- thanks to you.

3rd- family- thought Khushi lost her's, she is not alone. she has vidyaji and AKASH and everyone- including ARNAV. LOVED IT! and again- couldn't help but feel a sense of dread wash- when i remembered our history- and realised- there are families like this and people who suffered like this.

I am not going all personal about one's religious view but - i hope Allah, devi mayya, Almighty- any one- any one put some sense into such people who start such mindless riots. At the end of the day- when someone dies, it would be nothing but- taking one last breath and heart pumping just one last time.

"If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
Then we'd see the day when nobody died" - Nickle back

sorry i guess i've gotten all emotional 😆 i stop my buck buck now! 😊

This is one beautiful FF - and thank you once again!"

How many works actually touch you like that? how many works make you look back into history and wish you were there to change it or do something about it?

Moderator- LOOK into the story!! READ it COMPLETELY! and then tell me how many stories actually touch you that way? - this is a humble request from my side.

There MIGHT be other works in this forum which I would find odd to read- for such works- WHO the HELL asked me to READ them? no one is forcing me right? i would as well close the tab and look for something I like

Like other fan fiction forums- you can give ratings to the works.

And if munchy is reading this- girl i tell you- this is one awesome work.

I haven't gone through the entire thread to read about what other writer's are suggesting should happen, but being an FF writer on IF myself, I think that writer's should be allowed to openly express their thoughts.

First of all, I don't they a lot of readers know what "graphic" is, because I remember reading somewhere, in the IPKKND forum, that the show had vulgarity. Somebody please explain to me what is vulgar about that show. I think a lot of the readers use such words without thinking/knowing the meaning of it.

I live outside of India, and I'm born and raised outside of India, and I don't know a single kid that is 9 years old and has access to the internet, most parents are usually careful not to let there 9 year olds on to the internet. BUT that being a different situation, if there are 9 year olds on IF, and can read whatever is written in the FFs, I'm pretty sure they can read those warning in bold red on top of majority of the writings that say there might be some mature content, and those who cannot handle it should not be reading.

These little kids are smart enough not to talk to strangers, they know they're not supposed to swear, they know they shouldn't be watching any "bad" shows/movies on tv, then why don't they choose for themselves to not read any such material instead of complaining that the Forum contains too much "graphic" material.

There are writers who like expressing love making scenes, especially Munchy's "Pandora's Box". That was a very well written FF, with nothing explicit about it, yes there were a few love making scenes, but she wrote it with such taste that I saw nothing po*nographic about it.

If IF is deciding to make new guidelines about what can be written and what cannot be, I hope they do so fast, so us writers know what they can write and what cannot.

This ban on such scenes is causing a lot of great writers to stop writing, and I think that is a huge tragedy. Just because some people cannot handle such things, I don't think others should be stopped from writing it. If there is a proper warning given at the beginning of a particular writing, I think it should be allowed to stay, but that is my opinion.

I'm scared to update my FF's now, because I don't know how far I am allowed to take things.

I am sorry if anything I said was out of line, but this was my opinion on the situation. I wouldn't have said anything, but "Pandora's Box" was my favourite writing piece on IF, but it was forced to be shut down, and that has hurt me a lot. If people had actually read the piece properly they'd realize that the bigger picture held a lot more meaning then the mere "sex" scenes.

Again, I am sorry if I had stepped out of line with my comment.

PS. I just wanted to add that movies/shows all have warnings at the beginning that say that VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED but still some people choose to watch it, and others do not, so if people don't complain about those warnings, then why are they complaining about material that has warnings at the beginning. They read it and then complain. WHY?

I completely agree with you on this amy! I'm also a writer and this is probably the most bizzare arguement i've heard! How could you ban Pandora's Box! Thats just plain stupid! If you've ever read it than you would know how amazing of a writer the writer is! Can we all just get mature! If having kids on the forum is a problem than give it an age limit or something but dont take away a writer's right to publish what he/she wants to. I live outside of india and KIDS/TEEN SHOWS show more mature and graphic things than any FF (Degrassi????) ! Even YOUTH BOOKS! Kids are sensible enough to judge if they are mature or not to read something! My request to you all is to take this rule off because what you consider to be "graphic" is actually good writing. A lot of good talent will go to waste due to this rule. I am also sorry if I had stepped out of line with my comment.

Pandora Box is most beautifully written story.wid each relation be it mothr n daughter, daughter n father,bro-sis,friends,love..So realisticaly protrayd it.N shunting d creativity of writer jst bcz u wnt 2 shield '9 yrs old' is clrly nt done.Kids nwdays c's so muc on tv,its d responsibility of parents 2 keep an eye on them.N tel me its der any page/forum dedicatd 2 kids..No.If u keep doin dis..U wil hv 2 construct pages Disney,CN,NICK,POGO..as u wil b left wid only dis option.
IF is blessd wid brilliant writers..Preserve dem while u cn.
I seriously tink U shud reconsider,n tink practicaly as wel as logically abt dis issue.

Definition of po*n from The Free Dictionary.

Sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal.

po*n doesn't even have a story! I think you just insulted the writers here by calling their creativity po*nography! I can bet my life that no FF here is based only on sex!

Please refrain from making such accusations!

I totally agree that pandora's box being asked to close was
Really uncalled for. And now all the other ff writers won't be able to write what they want and i won't be able to read all the wonderful stories. I am usually a silent reader and don't post anything but come on Munchy did put warnings. Please reconsider your decision

We live in 21st century, but still can't have freedom of writing? There can be a po*n actress on tv in big bose, which is watched by families...but there can't be writings about what happens in real life. We live our lifestyle in technology, don't you guys think it is too subjective to have writers delete their content ? Even though they wrote warnings before the parts. If someone doesn't like to read about romance, not graphic explicit material , they don't have to read the part. Why do read it and then report it? If someone is that conservative in theory views or as mentioned young in age...why do they even proceed in reading if any further? I wad very dissappointed when I figured put that Pandora's box was one of the targetted writing. All they noticed was the wrong material, did they forget the beauty of the overall story. Please mod's take it into consideration that writings don't just mention sex, it has tons more material to think about.
