Heyy guys I'm back..and yes I have written a longer update 😳 Now the real story begins ENJOY!!😉

Chapter 6:

"Geet beta why are you wet?" asked Rano looking at her very confused.

"Woh mom main umm-" she was cut off.

"Actually Geet mere swimming pool kay andar gir gayi thi'" said Maan laughing in his elbow.

His eyes met with a pair kohl defined eyes that were outraged. He could have swore he saw a flame ignite. It was slight but it was there.

Then her expression turned into a smirk. What was she thinking??

"Auntie dinner was fabulous loved it.." said Geet appreciating her efforts to make such a yummy dish that Geet loved.

After dinner they were all seated and all were talking with their mouth except Geet and Maan. Ofcourse! Girls don't forgive and forget easily. Geet obviously was mad that after he told everyone they laughed at her secretly.

"Not fair Mr. Perfect, iski sazaa to tumhe mil ke hi rahe gi. Babaji meri madad karna."

"Maan tum Geet ko ghar dikhao hum baat kar rahe hain" said Dadi.

The two middle-aged women chuckled at them.

"Maan beta dihaan rakhna aisa na ho kay meri Geet dubara pani main gir jaaye" said Sukhdev Handa laughing at his daughter.

"Geet darling agar Maan aap ko tang kare to tell me okay?" said Balvindar Khurana smiling at Maan.

"Don't worry uncle iske liye main akayli hi kaafi hoon" said Geet purposely so that only Maan could hear.

He looked at her and lead the way.

"Tum theek to ho Geet?" he asked bothered by her silence, maybe he shouldn't have made that much fun of her.

She ignored him and went to smell the pretty flowers in the scented Khurana Mansion the birds were playing in the bird bath and the flowers were blossoming with a fresh spring feel. The stars were tinkling and Geet took a deep sigh. She actually felt relaxed, even with this loser around she felt at home?

She ignored him the whole way through the house. Now she was getting frustrated. Why couldn't he talk, apologize and just make her un-bored. She was Geet she liked to talk, get it?

Maan too was feeling bad he felt guilty.

"Geet I"he was cut off.

"You know what Maan don't think I let things go soo easily cuz lemme tell u hun I don't. You just like to be a dust-danav and rub stuff into peoples faces don't you-you-you moron." She said while pointing her finger at him.

"You know what this is too much I actually felt bad'and you'forget it'tum lardkiyaan na maafi kay kaabil hi nahi hoti" he said looking away.

That was enough to piss her off, boy was she mad, he was gunna be in for a deep one this time.

She ran downstairs from the terrace into the garden where the grown-ups had shifted now.

"Aaa gayi aap ko ghar kaisa laga Geet?"said Sonia

"Gorgeous, bilkul aap ki tarhah auntie" she said winking at her.

Before Sonia could reply Maan came running.

"Kya huwa?" said Rano

"Bhaag ke shaadi to nahi karne lage aap Maan jo aisay peechay dekh rahe hain?" said Savitri.

Geet decided this was the perfect time to teach Mr. Perfect a lesson. Ab tumhari baari hai Mr. Perfect after this you'll be'let's just say not so perfect.

"Dadii lagta hai Maan ka aisa hi kuch iraada hai pata nahi'mujhe keh raha tha kay usne shaadi karne ka plan bana liya hai..waise bhi he is the eldest in the family aren't you Maan?"she said ever so playfully that everyone was shocked to hear the statement.

After the Remembrance Day moment of silence everyone was soo happy-except, well ofcourse Maan.

He was frozen, shocked.

"Did she just?" he wondered.

"Oh yes I did!" Geet mouthed to him understanding his expression.

"Guys shukar hai tum dono ne finally keh hi diya.."said Dadii

"Hum bohat khush hain" said Balvindar while getting up to hug Maan.

"You guys are perfect for each other" said Rano.

"WHAT?" they said in unison

"Sharmaa rahe hain dono" said Sukhdev while getting up to kiss Geet's forehead.

"Did I just shoot my own foot?"thought Geet.

Maan was just speechless.

After a few seconds'

"No, aap log ghalat samajh rahe hain" they said together.

"Tum dono baat karo hum jaa rahe hain" said Dadii

"Wait. We don't want to get married."said Maan looking away.

"Maan humne aap ki shaadi karvani thi aur aap karte humme Geet pasand hai aur bas.." said Dadi looking straight at them, she knew she was clear.

"Geet, Sushant ek bahaana tha we knew you would never agree to him so that's why we fixed this."said Rano

"You mean you planned for me to go to the airport, his office and all that'"said Geet shocked. When did her parents start doing these types of things."

"Maa, Dad you too?" said Maan really worried.

They all smiled at them and left. Left two people who were ready to eat each other alive. Together. Well, that was a smart choice.

"You"said Maan pointing his finger at Geet.

She came close and was going to bite his finger when he pulled back.

"Yeah, that's right peeche ho jao..OMG'tumhari wajha se meri yeh haalat hai..I've become a three-year old. Tum na bohat bade WOH ho!!!" she said angry and helpless at the same time.

"Kya zaroorat thi Woh sab kehnay ki??" he said imitating her.

"Listen don't imitate me" she said angrily.

"Listen don't imitate me'Miss Disaster"

Geet saw everyone coming and'

"Pumpkin, sweetypie kya hua?"

"Uhmhmm" coughed Dadi smiling.

"We knew you guys would be happy"said Rano.

"BTW humne Pandit say mahoorat nikalwa liya hai"

"WHEN!?" was all they could say.

"2 weeks, itni tayaariyaan karni hain'Oh my'better get started. BTW incase you guys are wondering iske baad 2 yrs ki date nkli thi. We can't wait that long now can we?" said dadi.

They left leaving a shocked couple behind.

"Nahiiiiiiiiiiiii arranged marriage NEVER"

"Main kaunsa Ranjha bana phir raha hoon tumhare peeche."

"Main tumhe jaan se maar doon gi"

They chased each other throwing water at each other hitting each other. But nothing can be changed now can it?

PRECAP:

He grabbed her and kissed her cheek.

"Did you just-?"

"Yup..future wifey" he smirked and left to pay.
