Chapter 7:
Geet woke up to a rainy day, she stretched her arms, prayed to babaji, then went to look outside the window.
She loved this kind of weather, the mist, wet grass, flowers. She felt as if the rain enhanced everything out to its fullest.
Maan was taking a shower thinking how he will be married in a short period of time-very short! Life will change and Geet will be his wife??
"Itna bolti hai, main kaam karunga ya uski bak-bak sunoon ga? Future Wifey you called me pumpkin when I told you not to call me anything related to sweet or cute. Hisaab to tumhe dena HI parega!"
As soon as Geet got out of the shower she heard noises she went and looked down the staircase. Maan's family was seated'but where was Maan?
"Mujhe dhoond rahi ho?"came a voice that startled her from behind.
She turned around and saw him looking'.could he get more hotter?
"What Geet? Maan was shocked.

Dadi was talking to Geet when Maan came, he sat beside Geet at the dining table. She looked at him giving him a fake smile. He was about to tell her something when'

Geet choked on her juice with laughter.
All the women laughed and Geet smiled devilishly at Maan.
He glared at her while Armaan, Ridhimma, Atul, Anjali, Dev and Naintara entered.
"OMG HEYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!" said the girls in unison, then breaking into laughter.
"Yo Maan what's up dude?" said Armaan being casual but having a glint of happiness in his eyes.
"Bro'"said Dev while Hugging Maan.
"Humme jaise pata chala kay hamare Vade virji shaadi kar rahe hain..we just had to come.."said Naintara while hugging dadi.
"Obviously guys, cumon it's our Maan here, haina?" said Anjali while catwalking to Geet.
"Hi, I'm Ridhimma, Armaan's wife" she said while hugging Geet and pointing to Armaan.
"Geet yeh hain Armaan aur Atul, Maan kay bachpan kay dost, and he's Dev aapka devar."said dadi happily.
"Yaar Maan tu mujhe pehlay bata deta to main Anjali ka acha intazaam kar kay aata"said Atul with his hand on his chin.
"Pehlay batata to kya tum apna dimaag saath lekar aate?"said Maan smirking.
"Anjali to yahaan hai?"said Sonia
"Anjali..Atul ke plants'yeah"said Armaan widening his blue eyes.
Everyone broke into laughter while Geet looked at the wonderful people around her. Her mom and dad talking and getting to know them. While Maan's parents talked about something'it was pleasant..warm..her house felt welcoming.
"Chaliyay bohat baatein ho gayin ab sagai is in 2 days so you guys will be going shopping'ALL..(she looked at Maan)Balvindar aur Sukhdev aap office jaa rahe haina to jaaiyay?" dadi said ordering everyone..she was a natural leader.
The couples arrived at the mall. Geet instantly got along with the girls while Maan talked to Dev about business. Then the girls stopped infront of the entrance.
"Hmm listen boys'disturb mat karna, aur jaldi karne ko bilkul mat kehna GOT IT?"asked Anjali while looking right into her hubby's eyes.
"Anjiii tum jo kahoo"said a scared Atul he knew better than to disturb her at the mall.
"Now wallets please!"said Naintara taking Dev's wallet out and kissing his cheek.
"Public guys'kuch to khayal karo"said Geet while high-fiving Anjali and Ridhimma.
As Ridhimma walked to Armaan he grabbed her by the waist whispering something into her ear.
"Dadi?!"she screamed.
All the boys turned to look behind. Armaan instantly let go, allowing Ridhimma to hide behind Naintara.
"Never gets old does it?"said Ridhimma while the girls burst into giggles.
"Chalein?"said Maan.
"Wait..Anjii, tumhe mera wallet nahi chahiyay kya?"said Atul looking confused.
Anjali flashed him the wallet and rolled her eyes.
"Better luck next time baby!"said Dev to Atul.
All burst into laughter.
"Waise Geet aren't you going to take Maan's wallet?"asked Ridhimma.
"No..I don?'t need it"said Geet while looking straight into his eyes.
Maan took his credit card out and gave it to her forcefully.
"Maan never changes"said Armaan.
The boys were tired the girls had gone to every shop basically. But no one dare say anything to Anjii.
Geet came and dragged Maan into the diamond shop.
"We need to buy engagement rings. Dadi called in case we forget.."
"Ohhh..okk chalo"said Maan
"Geet choose one you like and tell me okay?"
"No,we are getting engaged so we both need to choose together okay?" she said excited.
She couldn't help her excitement every girl's dream is her wedding day.
"Maan, did you ask her?"whispered Armaan.
"No"said Maan realizing what was next.
"Bro, you mean you never proposed?"
"Yaar abhi chala jaa warna baad main problem hoti hai'trust me"said Atul making a don't risk it face.
"Maan go before Atul hume apna experience bataana shuru kar dey"said Armaan chuckling.
He saw a ring it was breathtaking'perfect he thought.

Geet went outside to look for him but just then she heard an announcement.
"Geet aaj puri duniya kay samne main tumhe kehna chahta hoon'will you marry me?"
She was flabbergasted. No words.
He came out and knelt down. She smiled genuinely and said'.
"YES!"
He took her hand and placed the ring ever so gently in her finger. Then he kissed her hand leaving a burning sensation on the spot where he had kissed it.
Everyone at the mall stared at them, girls glared at their boyfriends, wives walked away from their husbands. Then their was an applaud.
He grabbed her and kissed her cheek.
"Did you just-?"
"Yup..future wifey" he smirked and left to pay.
The girls ran upto Geet to see the ring complimenting it.
"OMG it's gorgeous!!!"exclaimed Angie.
Then Geet heard Armaan say'
"If I didn't tell him to ask her she would be mad..see how caring I am?"
