" SHUT UP !!! ", she screamed.
" Ab kya hua?"
" Kya bol kya rahe ho Veer? Ek baat mere palle nahi pad rahi hai....!!! I know I know tum usse bahot pyaar karte ho aur uske baarein mein kya kuch kahu aur kya na kahu aise tumhe lagta hai....par captain saab hum seedhe saadhe log hai...aap ek ek baat, dheere dheere shuru se bataoge toh kuch samajh aaye!"
He blushed and looked away.
Then leaned back on pillow,took a deep breath...and started...
" Naina....", he smiled, " Naina se main pehli baar KMA mein mila...waha par main Officer on Special duty tha....aur saath hi cadets ko Strategy and Communications sikhane keliye appoint kiya gaya tha...Main wall of fame ke saamnese guzar raha tha....ki dekha ki ek ladki ek photo haath me lekar khadi hai....maine jab usse naam poocha..."
" Wow !! Ek hi jhalak mein seedha naam?"
" Shut up! Woh waha Cadet thi aur main as a faculty member pooch raha tha..."
" ohk.."
" Jab maine usse naam poocha....toh she said it somewhat weirdly....it was Cadet Naina Ah' Singh..." , he grinned, at the memory.
Keerti smiled...
" Tab main nahi jaanta tha ki woh Naveen ki behen hai...usne yeh sabse chupaya tha...infact mujhe toh uspe spy hone ka shaq tha...."
He was telling her about Naina....
Keerti saw the glow on his face....the shine in his eyes...
Even she was lost in his narration....

" You know Keerti, usse laga main uske baarein mein pata chalne ke baad Brigadier ko sab bata dunga...woh mujhe dushman hi samajhti thi...aur sochti thi ki main usse Academy se nikal na chahta hoon..." , he laughs , " Aur maine bhi usse challenge kiya...ki agar woh exams mein fail hui, toh woh waise bhi Academy se bahar hogi...phir uss din Suriji ki drill mein top karnein ke baad..."
He remembered her face....
There was slight pride...pride on proving herself...and a challenge...as if challenging him to do whatever he can, but she will stay in academy....
Then when he told her that her secret was safe with him,deep in his heart....she was staring at him....slightly confused,slightly happy......not able to express herself.....as if in daze......
And then,when he put forth his hand to shook hands with her....the way she softly clasp his hand and he held it firmly....for the first time....and for the life time.....
He was indeed missing her a lot...

"Woh sab hum baadmein dekhenge ki kisne kya kiya hai, pehle..."
" Ohkkkkk....toh suno. There's one good news and one bad news." , Keerti announced. She always used to give 'Censored' version of whatever she would come to know from Shalini.....carefully dropping those things that will agitate him,or make him sad...
" Batati ho ya nahi?" , he said irritated.
" Batate hain....batate hain....pehle Good news ! Maj.Nair ko Naina se ek padi!"
" Kya?" , he asked shocked ," She....she slapped him?"
" Offo ! don't go by words buddhu ! Waha rifle drill chal rahi thi. And Maj. was abusing you....like he was saying ' I'm not amongst those faculty who act as nothing but a 'stunt'man and then turn into bloody murderers..... But good that he got what he deserved.. he is only worth that. Either he could entertain cadets by his stunts or murder persons. Am I right Cadet Singh?' and then he went on and on to provoke her...."
" Kameena! Woh chahta hai ki Naina kuch na kuch aisa kare jisse woh use Academy ke bahar phenk de. Aur now I'm really worried...Naina is very impulsive...woh...Khair...phir Naina ne kya kiya...I hope kuch..."
" Arey Suno toh ! Shalu said she was listening to all his bakwaas...Uske chehre par shayad hi koi expression tha....and then when he was abusing you directy,taking your name, frustrated by the fact that she was not reacting....Then that Nair said, ' Main toh bhool hi gaya...Woh tumhare Mentor the nahi? Tumhare jaisi traitor ke behen keliye perfect the ! Well....waise kya kya sikhaya hai tumhare BELOVED Captain Rajveer ne tumhe?'
Shalu guessed that He purposely called you as her beloved to make her lose calm....but what happened next was...."
" What happened? How did she react to that?", now he was very curious.
" Naina said ,'Sikhaya toh bahot kuch hai Sir. Aaj main jo kuch bhi hoon unhi ke wajehse hoon. Infact agar main aaj bhi academy mein hoon toh sirf Rajveer sir ki wajehse. par sabse badi baat unhone mujhe jo sikhayi hai woh hai Apni self respect ko banaye rakhna...aur ...yeh ki baatein kam aur kaam zyaada karna....kyunki unke hisaab se Bhonkne waale kutte kaat te nahi hai...' ,she said smugly."
Rajveer laughed," I'm sure uss muchchad ke samajh mein yeh nahi aaya hoga!"
" Exactly. Shalu said he was somewhat confused and shouted at her to be clear. Then she challenged him....
' Matlab yeh sir, ki aap mere Mentor ke baarein mein aisi bakwaas kar rahe hai...aur mere Mentor ka self respect mera self respect hua...toh I challenge you...why don't we shoot the target? Issi bahane aap bhi dekh lenge ki mujhe kitna stunt sikhaya hai Rajveer sir ne....'

" Woh pagal hogayi hai kya? Maj.Nair sharp shooter hai !"
" Yahi kaha uss major ne and haste haste challenge accept kiya. Phir Ladies first kehke Naina ko pehle hit karne kaha. "

" Hmm....par jaise hi Nair ki turn aayi, it started raining somewhat heavily aur usse kuch dikh nahi raha tha,toh he refrained from shooting.Phir tumhari Naina ne start kiya , ' Kyun sir? Ruk kyun gaye? Aap target hit nahi karenge? Oh ! main toh bhool gayi ! aap Maj.Nair ho...mere Rajveer sir nahi. Woh toh perfect shooter hai...unhe shoot karne se pehle target ko dekhne ki zaroorat nahi hoti...aap toh yeh pehle bhi dekh chuke hai.I know aap yeh nahi kar payenge....Mujhe lagta hai ki aapko Rajveer Sir se bahot kuch sikhna chahiye....par...I'm so sad...kya kare ab harkoi meri tarah lucky toh nahi hota na ? Woh mere Mentor hain...And I'm Sorry par main apna Mentor aapke saath share nahi karna chahungi.'.....and you could very much imagine Nair's reaction. Kyunki usse describe karne keliye Shalu ko words nahi mil rahe the."
Raj was smiling all throughout. He was imagining his Naina Ah' Singh mocking Nair.
" Phir?"
" Next was like he was shouting at her and was giving her punishment but she didnt lose her cool and agreed but your friend came in mean time. He requested Nair and also asked why he was involving in such things and wasting the time of class.And also asked him what example he wanted to set in front of cadets by not completing his chalenge...and that too with a cadet."
Rajveer laughed heartily.
" Perfect Shot Cadet Singh !" , he said laughing.
Keerti didnt say what happened next. How that Nair punished her for nothing as soon as Abhimanyu left and also gave her detention today for some small mistake of her.
She felt like hating herself for hiding things from him, but she knew she had to do it for his own good.
" Waise keerti....itni achchi news sun ne ke baad bad news sun ne ka mann toh nahi kar raha...par main jaanta hoon ki tum batake hi dum logi. But uske pehle mujhe ek favour chahiye."
" Kaisa favour?"
" Woh...woh...actually..."
" Veer tum ekbaar sochlo aur phir batana but mere liye yeh news dena bahot important hai. Aaj ke baad tum Shalu ko nahi koi call karoge aur nahi koi anonymous letter bhejoge. Kyunki usse doubt hai ki yeh jo koi bhi kar raha hai woh tum ho."
" Kyaa???"
" Haan....aur ab issliye no more contacting Dr.Shalini."
" Parr.."
" Ab kya?"
" Keerti sirf ek baar.....parso...", he started but was cut by,
" NO !! I said no...means no. Ab tum kuch dino tak Shalu ko koi contact nahi karoge...na aaj,naa kal aur nahi parso."
" Please Keerti..."
" Veer !!! Are you out of your mind? aur aisa kaunsa important message bhejna hai tumhe shalu ko?"
" Shalu ko nahi Naina ko....Day after tomorrow is her birthday... please Keerti...please..."
" Veer I do understand...But please you try to understand. I'm Sorry I can't.."
Rajveer knew how stubborn Keerti was. But Naina's birthday and he won't wish...haah! this can't happen....He'll call shalu...or the best way call Naina over the phone at KMA...it has been a lifetime since he heard her voice....
While he was planning mentally, Keerti confiscated his phone.
" What the hell....what are you doing Keerti?" , he yelled.
" I guess you can very well see that. Please Veer...i'm doing this for your own good."
