Dear Topic Maker,
Hats off to u for such a great post and round of applause to the ppl who posted intelligent replies to ur post!
Moving on from something which we consider to be our breath of life is a bitter pill to take but neccessary to be taken!
Through Armaan we will see that inspite of moving on, life is still one beautiful journey to be treasured!

each for it's own thought
as a kash and AR fan
i don't mind that Armaan moves on
however if some people do see AR has the modern toemo and juliet
then that's their own view
I actually salute all the people who stick by their thinking
there is nothing wrong with moving on
it's just that with AR this was a little unexpected
for two years AR fans watched DMG loyally
only wanting AR scenes after marriage
like anyother show we watch we can't wait for it's leads to get married and for the story to move on hwoever the couple who won all our hearts at some point in time are no longer together.

I also disagree your point about taking a bullet for eachother is nopt eqivalent enough to justify their love-only something BIG between them could forcve thme to take such an action. For me AR did not represent an everyday love story we get to see everywhere-for me their love was something enchnating and magical-totally out of this world. For a fictional show that you think shows something 'realistic'-they should have not shown love that you would not get in your everyday life-almost unrealistic. When have we heard of couples sensing eachother's presecence or love so deep that they can read eachother thoughts? AR love from the begining forced it's loyal viwers to love them and perhaps wished for a love story similar to their. However I have accepted that the characters and story is too ruined for thme to be together-therefore I am looking forward for the new girl in Armaan's life. Just wished that AR didn't forget eachother that easily. 😊

The fact that AR didn't get together makes them a tragic lovestory- different then the usual norms- I don't know the heer-ranja or laila-majunu story to such a deep extent as I know AR story for obvious reasons so for me AR does fall under the legendary couple character catogory just like other fictoona characters we get in books or movies UNLESS we can get a similat love story in television then i shall withdraw AR from the list. My point is that- what makes people unique is their different approaches and thoughts to to sitautions. I think we should just respect everyone for their opinions and quit encouraging others to think the same way. 😊

There is absolutley nothing wrong with moving on life but a whole other thing when it comes to CV's cheating on their dedicated fans. AR are gone and now it's time to look forward to Kash
- who will alsohave a great lovstory and I am sure that people who are unwelcoming this change will also won't be able to resist kash magic.

@Aria - To answer your question - I feel love is no longer an emotion. It's a commodity. It's on sale. Be it the over hyped Valentine's Day, our TV soaps or our films. It is marketted as some beautiful heavenly feeling that lasts forever and ever, in other words, like you said, an attractive packaging. People love watching this concept materialize onscreen, that no matter how much rona-dhona happens, the 'happily ever after' should arrive. All our soaps/movies cash on this eternal concept of love. Infact, alot of other Industries too - cards, gifts, accesories, even mobile service providers, toothpaste companies, deo/perfume companies, clothing companies and underwear companies. I'm sure there are more.
I think every time I get out of my house to cover a distance of more than a km, I see hundreds of advertisement boards selling love. It's quite a simple business formula, and quite an effective one.
Edit - I don't know if this was exactly the answer to your question but it pretty much sums up my POV. LOL :P

@All claiming that DMG has never been realistic - Very true. It never has. I guess that's why everyone has become used to it being unrealistic. A shade of reality is making people cringe, right? Has it's 'unreal' element become a habit? Because I'm not the one complaining about it being unreal, AR fans are the ones complaining about it being real. Why can't DMG be realistic for a change?
We watch these shows for entertainment, our happiness does not depend on them. And like I had said before, entertainment is defined differently by different people. Hell, I'm not saying that DMG should show some hardcore reality, but if it retains a certain real touch, then audience will identify with the characters more. Identifying is what matters, not fantasizing. You might aswell should go watch Cindarella if being unreal is all that entertainment entails for some people.

@Nikhi... - Our TV serials make every emotion seem loud through those effects. There is a thing called subtlety, for me personally, it works better than a booming background score. These effects don't enhance the emotions, they shove them down the audience's throat.
Seeing the world through rose coloured glasses isn't a bad thing, neither did I claim that it was. I just said that it's a phase that passes by soon enough, and one day those glasses have to be taken off. That time has arrived for AR. See, I don't claim to anything related to AR's suffering being wrong. I understand why AR (KaJen, to be precise) fans are hurt, but what I don't understand is why AR are being considered as some eternal, tragic couple who will go down in history? DMG is a youth show, or atleast it claims to be, then why is it being treated like contemporary Romeo & Juliet?
I didn't watch the show for 2 years so frankly I don't understand AR's journey as well as perhaps other fans do, but since they've been an important part of the show for so long, they will inevitably be considered as one of the main highlights of the show as and when it ends. I'm glad you've decided to accept this change and look forward to a new chapter in the show.

Pulezzz who gives a hoot about a onscreen couple like AR? Everyone either wants KaSh, Ka-Su or Ka-Jen to be together and some are just KSG fans hence they move on.

AR DON'T EXIST infront of these fangroups so lets accept it:)
Ka-Jen fans will stick to AR because they ARE KA-JEN.

KaSh are A REAL JODI "like in terms of jodi not so called characters"! AR are fictional characters who don't exist nor am i gonna make myself seem like the biggest ArSh fan. I am watching it for KaSh and they will make me love ArSh.

If there is no KaSh.... ArSh can go take a hike 😊

Heck many are loving ArSh only because THEY ARE KASH!

We are rooting for KaSh not some random fictional characters which can be destroyed anyhow by CVs but yes we can hope that those characters live up to the expectations and rest its ALL KASH:)

What do AR have left now? What are the reasons they should be together?? Except the fact they are Ka-Jen or they once ruled DMG or the same old kiddish DMG = AR equations which don't even exist in mathematics! 🤓

ditto ramsh👏
