I agree with u Neetz.....i have seen many people who said they have found their soul mate and then after some years they broke up becoz of some unavoidable circumstances.....and then later on they did get their real soul mates....Armaan and Riddhima might have thought they were the perfect couple and meant for each other but in real they were not.....i am glad DMG is showing something real....its showing how our lives dont stop just becoz we have lost the person we loved most at one time.......moving on is a part of our life...and DMG for a change has become real....we have lived in world of fairy tale romance for so long now lets try out some reality.....whats harm in giving it a chance 😊

well dear romeo and juliet was also fiction if i may correct you and secondly moving on is not wrong when ur partner has wronged or cheated or abused you. it is worng when you know ur lover is out there suffering all alone beacuse of u while ur deciding to get married! Armaan and Ridhima still love each other so it is sid who should move on not AR!

I can see where you're coming from in this post. And though I'll be saddened by it, I do agree that Armaan does need to move on.

However, I hasten to add, that I can see AR fans to have a valid point. It may be realistic for AR to move on, but I think the 'unrealisticness' (forgive my word invention) was the charm of their relationship. The fact that they loved each other so much was so unrealistic, that it was the very thing that kept you glued to the screen. To many people, AR were and are in the same category as Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha etc...just of the modern day.
I think the other thing that annoys fans is that after 2 years of AR, in which time fans have become so attached to the characters, it seems pointless to separate them. What's the point of 2 years of AR, if they're not going to be together in the end.
Also, DMG is never realistic! 😆
But on a more serious note, TV shows are there to entertain, and in some cases are mediums by which people can forget reality and escape into a fantasy world. They're hardly ever particularly realistic, because ultimately they provide what the viewers want. And generally speaking, viewers want tales of eternal love, because they're simply so rare and give happy endings. Viewers like happy endings! 😃
The point is: if fictional stories can't even give happy endings, what hope do we have in real life?

👏 very well said...

@TM.. Its not just about taking bullets for each other.. it is much more
AR can feel each others presence w/o seeing.. it is beyond some kind of puppy love.. they truly are soul mates...

So,as an AR fan..(im speaking only for myself).. Im ok with them moving on in their lives (only coz the show has to go on), but I dont want them to stop loving each other..coz that would be unrealistic for me..after watching this show for so long

i do agree with u, though i find this hilarious, i mean the way u have ritten it, it sounds kinda harsh on the fans which makes me laugh but anyways, i really think its high tym, armaan shud move on, there is NOTHING wrong with moving on in life! though i do think tht armaan and riddhima are the best fiction couple till date, n i really adore their tragic lovestory, but who knows, ARSH might turn out an even better lovestory than AR and who know's ARSH myt actually have a HAPPY ENDING!
looking forward to more KASH MAGIC in DMG!
cheers

@Mona: Hey is that directed towards people like me? Either way, I'll reply back. Okay as you know that I've been an AR fan, but that was all for Armaan and for what AR used to be. I said this before, I'll say it again that for me Ridhhima was Shilpa, and I accepted the other ones only for Armaan and AR. But ever since Jennifer came back in Jan., the character of Ridhhima and AR were seriously ruined. And then once Armaan came back, she got even more annoying with her constant crying, running and indecisiveness. And then after Lonavala she's like I wanna be with Sid and then Armaan started helping SR...all of which sorta provided the final nail in the coffin.
So even before Shilpa came I wanted a new girl for Armaan b/c for me he was the reason I'd been watching after Shilpa left. Also just like me, I think for others it's mainly Armaan aka KSG hence they're okay with his moving on. Ridhhima's was a problem b/c that caused sorrow for Armaan.
I've been saying it all along that no one can watch KSG being replaced and he's the reason why ppl accepted different girls. This also shows that its mainly about the actors not the characters even though alot of KSG and AR fans will keep on yelling that it's not.
Coming back to the post, yes everyone is hypocritical but we watch the show for entertainment...it's not a political ideology or a religious belief. So let's not make it some serious issue about everlasting love (which I don't think exists) or real issues of moving on.

@Aria, Neetz: Yup love nowadays is all a capitalist venture to make money esp. in North America. Not just love but they've eevn sold your parents' love and made it into holidays like Mother's day and Father's day to make money out of the vulgar many. Actually I find most NA holidays are just an extension of Locke's model of "the pursuit of happiness" aka capitalism.
