Am mostly a silent reader and these days have been watching teh shows.
Vrish probably knows me as Vinu from the other forums. But the others I am not too familiar. As with Krishna's story on Imagine which i saw intently only to leave in a huff because of the severe distortion, I hope I dont so the same.
Though Vrish and many others have commened and rightly so, this is a little bit of my tit bit. I do agree to them above.
When did Daksh get his original form back. If I am right, Shiva saw to it that his head burst into a million pieces. Thats why the goat head was there. Moreover, in rudra chamaka, the chamak is what he recites which is why every thing ends with a 'me'. Like Shanchame, priyanchanme, etc etc etc.
And Parvati doing pooja to her own death place is almost as ridiculous.
Shiva has always been monogamous. Though many opine Ganga is his wife, its actually not so beacuse he only caught Ganga in his matted hair to reduce her furious flow. While parvati is Sati Incarnate. They have the same soul. Shiva married the same person twice albiet in different forms. And once a soul leaves, the body is nothing. So how does Parvati do this to Sati? And her touching Daksh feet is indeed inappropriate. She is now adi sakthi.
And yes, whats with Shumbh and Nishumbh making their appearance now. Shiva and Parvati's union was specific for Tarakasur and his brothers Simhamukha and surapandma. Simhamukha and Surapadma became the vehicles for Durga and Karthikeya once slain by them.
Shumb and Nishumb are more appropriate in Devi Khata. or as Vrish rightly pointed, is it beacuse Navaratri is nearing Mahadev will briefly turn into Mahadevi.
I only hope I dont switch off from this serial like I did with Dwarakadeesh beacuse of the distortion.
But the choice of Actor for Shiva is something that keeps me hooked. He is fabulous.
