Sure. I usually update the first post as soon as the other threads like caps, written update, rating, video, etc are up.

Coming to DOTW as I'm the one who handles this !! I agree this time participation was less buy I also know that I might have faltered somewhere in choosing the topic as the one I chose this time wasn't worth much discussion and I'm sorry for this !!! Last week we had an immense response for the first dotw !! After this weeks dotw is opened and if we don't get much of a response then I guess we can keep it sticky for 3 days and then make it unsticky !!

NEW FORMAT OF THE MEMBER OF THE WEEK (MOTW)

The current MOTW format is- To conduct poll based on DOTWs

The problem with this particular format is, more than half of the section members will be deprived from becoming the MOTW as there are many who don't participate in DOTWs. However these members are posting the other threads, coming up with various other activities around the week.

It's not necessary that everyone of us would be good at participating discussions, it happens that we end up writing the same stuff that someone has already written (someone else's view)

My proposal is- we should have MOTW based on the CID HALL OF FAME every week. The member who created maximum post and had received maximum approval from members the whole week deserves to be on the CID HOT SEAT for the week.

I personally discourage POLL format as multiple voting can be done due to technical glitch.

If you feel you are not able to give your best this week for whatever reason then you can ask one of your friends to volunteer. I don't recommend one member to take the burden alone. We are all working for the same section after all. I personally felt you have done a great job with the past 2 DOTW 👏so don't feel you have done a poor job here.😊

Great, So from the 4th day i.e Wednesday we will have your discussion threads a sticky. Please PM me the links so I can stick them, incase I forget.

Also I want you to please add the MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS of the week in your discussion thread.

Major highlights ( HEADLINES) can be -

A contest that has been opened by say Visrom
A new poem that has been posted by one of the poets of CID section
etc
An article on one of the trios

This way members will be aware of the current happenings of our section via your discussion threads.

Is that alright with you?

I guess this can be done as far as DOTW is concerned let's gave it stick till Thursday and after that bases on response it can be continued or discontinued as a sticky topic !!

Coming to MOTW heehee weird but I never noticed the hall of fame !! I never feltl like having a look at it !!
