@visrom one person can take the responsibility of managing these threads. he/she can make a single thread with title"recent episode discussion/videos/written update"and give there links. then other thread with the title "threads of the week" or anything like this, and then give links for DOTW, MOTW and scene contest in it. u can discuss this with all the members managing these respective threads

Doctor, no one will participate in the contests unless they see the individual threads on page 1. I was looking at some other forums. They have a lot more 'current' topics on page 1. We have only 4 current topics after the stickies and important topics and global annoucements. A lot of people(even active members) don't visit page 2 of our forum.

And with some newbies opening threads for fun, we hardly have anything on page 1.

I like the idea of Dr. Fahmi, though at the same time there is problem as stated by visrom.
But if we really want to reduce the number of stickies we need to do something like his. may be there will be problem initially, but gradually we will be habituated with this. Regarding unnecessary new threads we have nothing to do.

I know....my first scene contest had sooo many entries. This week only 8.

And the non-participants don't bother to visit the thread even to vote. Is it marked 'NO ENTRY' or something?

Wondering whether I should hold one at all.

@Visrom u shold hold this contest IMO shold hold for 2 times a month.coz eveybody busy with their work also reapeating same contest weeak by weeak may loose their interest.

Same with me Chinnu, Actually it was Somu's choice...she made it tough.

Jiya...this is not such a serious thing that people need to break their heads about...jo dimaag mein aaye, likh do. I think if people are interested we should have it once a week. Otherwise, even I lose interest.
