A family court in Mumbai's Bandra suburb granted the divorce, confirming the split of the actress and businessman who tied the knot in 2022. Amidst the news, Hansika's ex-sister-in-law, TV actress Muskan Nancy James, couldn't help but take a subtle jab, stating she shouldn't be linked to "someone's absolutely fake world". The divorce proceedings were confirmed by lawyer Adnan Shaikh, marking the quiet end to the high-profile couple's short-lived union.

On Friday, March 13, Nancy took to her Instagram story and wrote, "Requesting a few social media platforms to please keep me away from someone else's life. You have always been supportive and understanding, and I truly appreciate that. Kindly don't associate me with someone's absolutely fake world. I don't have Paid PR-let time reveal the truth. 'Sab Samay ka khel Hai.' Peace, Love & Karma."

In 2025, Hansika, along with her brother Prashant Motwani, found themselves embroiled in legal troubles when Prashant's estranged wife, Nancy, lodged an FIR against him, their mother Mona Motwani, and Hansika at Amboli Police Station on December 18, 2024, citing allegations of domestic violence and invoking sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506, and 34 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Within the FIR, Muskan detailed how the persistent domestic violence she endured had unfortunately led to her developing Bell’s Palsy, a condition characterized by temporary weakness or paralysis affecting the muscles on one side of the face.

Muskan and Prashant married in 2020 but split in 2022, and they've been living apart for over two years.

Hansika Motwani has wiped clean her Instagram of all things Sohael Khaturiya. Gone are the wedding photos and videos, replaced by solo pics and brand promotions. Her feed, once a testament to their love story, now looks like a regular celebrity profile.
