ChanChan review of a TV addict [DT note Pg. 6] - Page 4

I was curious after seeing the promos and even more after hearing the concerned people of the show talk about it and so, I saw the initial 2 episodes of chanchan. After the ML change I once again saw the last 3 episodes.

I was really taken back and was annoyed with the script and acting. First of all, I dont know why this show was sold as a khoobsurat story .

The thought behind the whole story, characterisations , problems all r the same just like any other saas bahu. But that is okay .. there are many saas bahu sagas running and this is similar to them and it would have been fine IF the tracks were well written and the actors performed well. Even for a person who wants to watch a light hearted show, this is no fun ! Appalling story line and tracks ! The same concept of an educated ,free spirited and good hearted girl adjusting in a conservative strict sasural and with a cunning sasuma could have been made so much more enterrtaining. and that with such an experienced starcast.

I wonder sometimes if this experienced starcast like Supriya Pathak, Sanaya, Anang Desai, Aravind vaidya (grandfather) etc were sold a different show but ended up with this one !

Maybe, hopefully the creatives will change their approach and maybe the tracks will improve
