Yeh dekh lo incase you are planning on DNFing a Pride book but still making it an entry for Pride Prize reviews

Oh, I need to ask one more question. If I DNF a book, should I write the actual page number from the physical copy of the book I have?

Can I suggest you something? You won't always find beautiful and memorable quotes. Also, if you listen to an audiobook, it won't be possible for you to copy paste quotes from that audiobook because it's not a physical book. So, I think it's a good idea to go to Goodreads and look for quotes there. After reading a book, you may feel confused which quotes to share or you may not get time to select quotes. So, you can use Goodreads for that. While you may not like the quotes of Goodreads, your task of sharing quotes will become much easier.

What about quotes from a fanfiction? Is there an easy way to get them too?

No, there's no easy way to get quotes from a fanfiction. But you can do one thing. If you like a reference of something in a fanfiction which you saw in the show or the movie, you can use quotes where that reference is used. Suppose, you watched a show where a girl used to call her girlfriend affectionately by a nickname and you find that nickname in the fanfiction too. You liked it and it reminded you of that show. Even if you don't write the quotes while reading the fanfiction, you can come back later and press ctrl+F to find that nickname. In this way, you'll easily find the quote. Also, you don't have to remember the complete quote if you follow this method. You only need to remember one word or two words. You can write those words somewhere if you want. I'm giving you my example. I'm currently reading a fanfiction of a Thai BL drama named SOTUS. It's a love story of two guys named Arthit and Kongpob. In Thai language, Arthit means sun. So, when I saw the reference of Sun in the fanfiction, I liked it. I didn't write quote while reading a particular paragraph. I came back later, pressed ctrl+F and searched the word, sun. In this way, I found a quote where Kongpob said, 'my sun' very easily.

For books, I underline or highlight quotes/ passages that stand out while I'm reading if they are e books. Some even allow you to copy-paste into a doc/ notes app. If they are physical books, I take a picture of the page/ quote that stood out.

For FFs the same thing will work, you can simply copy-paste the lines into a doc, or take a picture and type them out later.

For audiobooks, idk if the app allows you to highlight parts you want to revisit later (I don't do audiobooks), but if not, then you can find quotes on goodreads.
