Smart move 🤗 👍🏼

There's a lot of Propaganda films but Border isn't one of them. Firstly, it's based on a true incident, the "Battle of Longewala". Secondly, it makes it very clear in the climax that War is never the answer and only brings death and destruction.

Aisa kuch nahi tha movie me. Don't know what movie you watched. smiley36

There's only one dialogue where the protagonist even speaks to his Pakistani counterpart and calls a particular character " Ghulam Ashtgeer...Lahore da mashoor gunda".

In the climax they even raise the Pakistani flag along with the Indian one.

Seems like you have seen some censored version of Border.

Forsure there were full MC BC gaaliyaan many times in the movie mouthed by Indian army whenever an Indian soldier fired guns or tanks across the border.

It's a film I've watched multiple times. There's no gaaliyan at all. It's a G rated film. On the contrary, the Indian army is shown to be extremely humane even during war, giving captured Pakistani soldiers water and medical care, proper burials etc.

You need to watch the uncensored version, once.

There is only one version. Lot of misinformation about the film. It's an extremely well made film that blends a soldiers life on base with their personal lives. War is only the last half an hour and it's mostly just action. I think you might be mistaking it for LOC which did in fact have a lot of Gaaliyan.

Yes you are. And also it’s war. Phool thodi barsenge? Log mar rahe hai aur aapko gaali ki padi hai? When the emotions are high you expect people to speak respectfully to each other? Both the sides used the language that the other side understands well….
