Anyways, I'm still not counting all the chickens before they hatch. 😆 It's amazing that Manikarnika collected this much on the 2nd day. Hoping that it passes the most pivotal test of Monday after sustaining on sunday. Hoping for her BO victory very ardently. It's been very long in coming.

I agree completely. And its not just today/this movie...but have seen in past as well...so many movie reviews threads are spoiled here ...just too silly and childish !! oh well, to each his own.

Wish the movie continue to grow and do well !! 👍🏼

This is General Hugh Rose's letter informing of Rani's death
Extract from Hugh Rose's report on the battle for Gwalior mentioning the death of the Rani.

I have the honor to enclose Brigadier Smith's report of his operations No. 2 Enclosure. Brigadier from " Kotah-ka-Serai." I beg fully Smith's Report. to confirm his recommendation of the Officers under his command, and to draw His Excellency's attention particularly to the great gallantry and devotion displayed by Her Majesty's 8th Hussars, in the brilliant charge which they made through the enemy's Camp; of which one most important result was the death of the Ranee of Jhansi; who, although a lady, was the bravest and best Military leader of the Rebels. The enemy's guns which the 8th Hussars brought back out of the Rebel Camp into their own, were the best proofs of how nobly they had fought and conquered.

Kangana had good chemistry with the actor who played her husband, subtle but one could see that Rajaji was smitten by his Rani, thankfully their romance was done tastefully with no over the top dialogues .

I don't understand people saying that other actors didn't have enough screen space, all the characters created enough impact in a movie which was based on RLB. They were not frivolous side kicks but people who helped in shaping Laxmibai's legacy and I think the movie portrayed them well.
