Kangana has been getting rave reviews. It looks like most of the "bad" reviews are based on the perception that the movie gives no room to other characters and it is a bit long. I'm hopeful that the movie does well because I feel like its success will help Bollywood be open to more female-centric films.

i just find it funny that they are even ignoring their fav masand (which was her PR mouth piece at one point) and anupama...

and the negative tweets are being posted by a non fan.

dont expect them to entertain me, but people like masand, anupama and komal arent 'blind haters' that their reviews should be ignored

and people who mocked bhasali for bollywoodizing history have now explanations for rani laxmi item songs and over all the movie looking like a chandni chowk replica of SLB

The best part of Kangna's acting was she wasn't loud to show her fiery self

There was a restrained fierceness and she conveys it with her eyes alone.

Another goosebump shot was the day before the final war...

very subtle but you get it

I lack the patience to watch movies or TV shows without fast forwarding. Will wait for it to officially release on a digital platform.

Wish the movie recovers its costs and earns accolades.

I wish movie goers do realize investing and watching this movie is much better than watching Sanju type movies...Hope more and more people go and watch this movie...and celebrate and give their tribute to Jhansi Ki Raani Laxmibai...👏

I watched the film in a multiplex in Chennai today morning show. It was housefull. And by the end of the movie people stood up and clapped, saw this after a long time for a hindi film. Not a great fan of Kangana, but she was excellent in both direction and acting in this film. No other actress of the current generation can match her acting wise.

Udhay, how do you know which parts Kangana directed and which Krish so that you can see how excellent s h e was?

I have the feeling that the only one who really is able to discuss this movie is tina (and it doesn't bother me at all that she has a positive impression of the movie). Others have, maybe watched, too but apart from general statements they don't contribute to details.

And I think those who just repeat what they read or heard should not judge the movie or Kangana's performance because they rehash others' opinions.

Reminds me my experiences here with Zero... (praising or bashing is of no worth for me without a personal experience).

Thanks to tina, there are some insights to the movie.
