When did YRF start losing it

There was a time that whenever that YRF music used to come, we were all so sure that this film is a hit..

When Neil and Nikki flopped, that was so shocking coz I think it was the 1st flop of YRF..

Now I donno what happened to this iconic PH.

One reason could be that lead actors are now acting only in their own Production houses..

Few things one must know. YRF since 1972 up until Chandni released barely saw any success. Chandni was their first major success and that too was short lived as Lamhe was huge flop too. Darr happened and then no looking back until Mujhse Dosti Karogi. And then they've had hits and misses. Currently Salman's blockbusters, few hits like Hichki and Sui Dhaaga.

YRF has had more failures and moderate success than Blockbusters and runaway hits

Neal n Nikki appeared to be bad from the get to, but no high expectations were there because lesser known actors we're in it.

Jab tak hai jaan was some epic shit and was a shocker because it had srk katrKat and Anusha... All pretty big names

I think the start of the fall was Dhoom. Yes the first 2 did well but its so try hard and b-grade. And I don't remember previous yash raj movies being like that.
