So that is the sexist attitude in any wood, be it Holly, Bolly, Tolly, Kolly, Molly...whatever. So actresses everywhere fight.

As for Ranbir and his BO Tamasha, I will accept Aloo's BO prowess before I accept his. A big part of Raazi was Aloo though story was king. But Ranbir has yet to prove he is BO anything without Hirani and Sanju story. Let Brahmastra make $100 crore a week, heck let it make $100 crores in two weeks and I will shut up. Until then Ranbir does not deserve 35 crores and the people who pay him are a combo of nepotism/sexist folks.

Hope all "female or feminist" producers pay 30 Crores to Katrina or Deepika. Hope SRK gives profit sharing rights to Anushka and Katrina in his next film. And Aamir does the same to Fatima and Katrina.

Publicity ke liye Bhashan dena aasan hai. Producer banke khudka paisa lagao tab dekhenge. 😆

It is not that female stars are underpaid, it is that male stars are overpaid. Raazi made more money than Judwaa 2. Outside Ranbir, it was only Baaghi 2 three years later that made more money than Tanu Weds Manu 2. I think Pari made more money than October. Ranveer in an Aditya Chopra film or an ensemble Dil Dhadakne Do, gave the same opening as a Sonam and Kareena's VDW. Dishoom was in fact lesser.

Imran Khan got paid more than Katrina for MBKD. Ranbir got paid thrice as much for Tamasha. What was Shahid Kapoor paid so many crores for in Padmavat? I remember, ranveer was paid less but had a profit deal.

What money did Fan make? What money did JHMS? Remove Anushka, JHMS would have been a disaster.

We saw Salman Khan 'deliver' with Tubelight and Race .

Heroine, Mary Kom had comparable openings to Ranbir, Ranveer films.

Give heroines lead roles in similar big budget films that heroes get so easily. If they don't make the some money, we can talk about star power. A Piku cannot be compared to a Race 3 or a Tiger Zinda Hai.

Make Deepika the lead of Dhoom 4 or give Priyanka one of these KJo big budget films. We will know.

Anyhow, look at the highest grossing actors list. How was Akshay Kumar there? His films struggle to make 20-30 million dollars. How is he getting the same paid as Marvel stars with revenue gross deals on films that make billions? How was Salman Khan there? How is Tiger Zinda Hai comparable to the grosses of their biggest hits.

They over pay their actors, budgets overshoot, films don't recover.

LOL...The stardom of the Khans and Akshay, HR, Ajay...is not build from one movie...they have been here for 30 years...they are not newbies or a few movies old that their stardom will change every Friday...u guys are comparing BW industry with any other regualr industry...and this is the problem...I don't think anyone is saying that women shouldn't be paid the same as men if they deliver the same end product...its BW works in a different way...Salman Khan will bring in more money with less effort than Katrina would.
