The protest is completely justified if the alligations are right

karni sena is a rajput organization( it is not bjp or the government its a different organization whos only aim is to get money ,they even did the same when jodha akbar released but what ashutosh did was show the movie to them aka the royals and ended it right there )
slb can also do the same knowing this is going out of hand ,but he wont
if he is changing facts(which knowing slb he would do it 100%),may be there is a reason(if irani padmavati is indeed fictional)

like someone else posted make a panel for those who are protesting show it to them simple but knowing slb he will milk it
these guys even threatened zee tv for a tv series ,this is not the first time they are doing it,they even caused ruks in rajasthan university involving a rajput student a few examples
if it involves the word rajput they are at it ,but this time since its voting time enitre rajastan community is opposing it including the bjp and congress

But the decision has been taken right? After the movie gets passed by CBFC, it will be shown to some historians in rajasthan. I have read that here. But anyways iam tired of this drama. I hope iss movie ka jo bhi hona h wo jaldi ho aur ye tamasha khatam karo.

agar film me kisi bhi type ka face to face scene hai between padmavati ji and allaauddin then protesht should go on and on and they have to edit / cut scenes

if they are distorting the royal history of rajasthan then noone will accept it for sure ...

as they saying agar film bilkul saaf hai aur koi scene nahi hai aisa to why can't he show the film to them?

even when JODHA - AKBAR was made ashutosh screened it to Jaipur gharana first

Akbar's wife name was Harkhabai and NOT JODHA ... so they demanded a disclaimer of name changing at the starting of the film ...also 3-4 scenes he edited out after Royal people's asking

har chiz ka tarika hota hai karne ka ...film release hone ke baad protest ka kya matlab hoga jab sab log dekhlenge??

YES!! If they are changing the facts and distorting the history then the movie shouldn't be spared

and If no distortions are there , then show it to royal gharanas and take a clean chit from them... simple

If tomorrow some film maker is making a film on Mahatma Gandhi then should Gujratis demand they want to see first because he belonged to their community or if hollywood is making a film on him can India demand show us first otherwise I will vandalize theatres? This is not how it works. right?

First of all I don't think a historical figure belongs to a particular family or even a community. All these rajputs leaders who are coming out in protest are descendant of Padmini. There may be few not all. Padmini is theirs as well as others who appreciate her courage as well. I understand they are sensitive community and they have rights to ask question but do they have patience to hear the answers???? Bhansali has himself cleared there is NO such scene, CBFC is there to certify the film then why this hoopla? Even makers said they will show the film once the certification is done but do they really listen to anyone?

They are now threatening to behead SLB, instigating common people to vandalize theatre --> this is an law and order issue. These people should not get over it. We live in a civic country,no body can go away with these threats.
