2) the film border in no way shed a bad light on Indians, they were shown as heroes...while with Padmavati there are concerns abt how SLB treatment may show Padmini and ratan singh and how he will portray khilji character...

if creative freedom is so necessary then why not just make a movie on fictional characters and let the queen dance on salsa instead of ghoomar and no one will bat an eye...

How sure can you be of cheer haran when nobody has even seen the movie?

I am not taking anyone's side in this conflict as I think both are right in their own way

and as for watching the movie...I wanted to go for it but then I have decided to be regressive instead to support deepu madam's claims.🥱

oh I didn't know Padmavati was being portrayed as a fiction... they should just put a disclaimer in the beginning that any resemblance to actual persons living or dead is purely co-incidental... baat khatam 😛

All this tale still is part of folklore tale there is no proof of Queen Padmini. I can bet if asked those protesting won't present a single conclusive proof of her existence even. She is popular because of epic poem called Padmavat written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi.That poem is the basis of "existence". 😆

But NB, Padmavati is a fictional piece written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi. Just like Devdas was .

It has nothing to do with sns , but election politics. You and I both know nobody can go around running a thug gang unless there is political silence and support which is needed to win elections.

Creative freedom pertain to basic freedom. There are books written like Palace of Illusion which is a different take on Mahabharat. You might not like the content but you don\t and shouldn't have a right to stop that view.

It is a different point of view about history. If the protesters have a different take , who is stopping them from presenting their facts via any media.

Laws should be fair and equal in every situation and not on basis of convenient that while the practice was wrong, it presented Indians well then it's okay. Thats not how laws should ever be drafted.

shayad isiliye kuch Rajput representatives want a pre-screening before release... warna uske baad to chidiya chug gayi khet wala scenario ho jayega... not much can be done after the release...

you have to be a victim first, to play the victim card, the have beaten him. 😉

in a tolerant place this movie would go unnoticeable 😉
