IDK if I have heard about Rani Padmini herself, but I VAGUELY remember bits and pieces of a story involving a beautiful Rajput queen, who had an obsessive admirer, a Turkish emporer . He asks to get a glimpse of her and a guard or someone shows an image of her through a mirror and he falls even more madly in love with her. (IDK properly, but I think I remembered only the sensational aspects of the story :p ) ...and then her husband dies in the war and she commits jauhar along with many other women...

Can anyone here tell me what that mirror story is about?

We should stop living in fear. Rajputs also should not fear that their queen will be seen differently by the people. People aren't blind, we are in an internet era where we will look for truths, as much as the cyberdust can offer 😛 ..Movie makers themselves are now under strict scrutiny by public if they misrepresent facts..

Let us see... For example, we have Rajput community protesting dancing by Rani Padmini.. they've made their concerns heard... the public will choose whether it was wrong to show her dancing or not.

We watch the movie, we hear what different groups, including Rajput community have to say, and we decide what we want to follow.

I'm saying NP, they SHOULD make their voices heard... not saying they have no right to PROTEST.

We are here to choose what we want.

Like I said... nobody's going to force any opinion on anyone.

Everyone, the artist, the film maker, the Rajput community, the people have a right to speak, to form an opinion, to express, to believe, to protest... BUT, no violence/threats/disorder please.
