i hope such long articles starts coming for shahids, varuns, ranveer and others. maybe they can't afford to buy 99.9% critics, only ranbir can buy such praises showered upon him.

So who's PR is behind this? Deepika? Maybe she lent her PR prowess to Ranveer? Or maybe its cross border terrorism by Fawad Khan.

He got box offc results with both commercial and non commercial films. Right now he's going through bad phase, whatever films he's doing isn't working at box offc ...it happens.. every actor worth his salt has gone through this, Varun too will at some point.

as ranbir fan i would rather see him become a boxoffice bhikaari by making movies like JJ,for me chalega. but i don't want him to become a rich man by doing a golmaal 4.

when its all over, he might be remembered for his JJ than a some golmaal.

Thats what will happen I guess. He'll think twice before doing a JJ, probably sign a KJO film to get a hit under his belt and stop experimenting for a while.

Well .. let's talk about Barfi as well .. he was just damn good in that film.

I agree about Rocket Singh being over-rated. Anyone could have done Bachna-Ae-Haseeno. I've not watched most of his other films.

nah...he will start to suffocate after doing 1 or 2 kjo, or golmaal type movies. i really want him to experiment., the best thing about JJ, it gave me hope. at least ranbir has visions too,...and thodi hatke visions.

Maybe in your world but not for millions who watched Golmaal series over a pretentious cinema which claims to be genius and beyond acceptance of hindi film fans. I mean these critics tomorrow will not hold same opinion. Recall one thing for sure. Sholay, Mr India & HAHK are 3 films which were thrashed at those instant times but over the years they've left more impact for various reasons. On plus side today's critics considers those 3 films in their must watch list. Just shows what really holds the spot on critics mindset. Also. Jagga Jasoos if compiled all major critics reviews together. Hold averagely of 2.7/5 rating. Not so critically acclaimed is it?

@Piyatrix. The fact is constancy. One or 2 failure is fine but Ranbir is given 5 major setbacks in less than 4 years. His stardom has only seen to be declining since his first blockbuster. I mean these criticisms has to be fair despite I may not say he is a bad actor. I liked his work in few films. But he is limited.

Yeh Kiya!Here I was waiting to get ashamed and hang my head in shame for not liking the best actor in the world since sliced bread ,but someone dared to question RK's stardom and something that many have felt.

He is good but not versatile.I don't think anyone from younger lot is versatile.

And as far people getting happy just with critical acclaim,I am sure the tunes will change once RK gives a commercial hit ,a la YJHD. Suddenly BO will become important.
