All 3 Khan movies with similar themes of humanity vs. religion/nationality and involving comparable stories of people's hero and use of the media/journalists as pivotal plot points. Lots of melodrama and suspension of disbelief in all 3 movies. Also a lot of critical acclaim for each one.

So if you can choose, which one of the three is your personal favourite and why? How would you rank them and according to what criteria?

For me, though I like the 3 Khans differentially, it's hard to pick the better movie between the three because of how similar they eventually are. Humour wise, it'd be PK or BB. In terms of emotional impact, BB or MNIK. Acting wise, MNIK. Editing wise, PK. Better secondary characters, BB. What about you? Discuss.

BB > PK >>>>>> MNIK.

Everything-wise MNIK was awful. PK was a decent film. BB was a really good film which touches you.

I thought Kajol's performance in MNIK >>>>>> everyone in all 3 movies 😆 Do you not rate her at all and if so, why? Personal bias or just didn't find any of her work in the movie remarkable?

MNIK > BB > PK

MNIK , if not perfect , was still a real good movie with top notch performances of SRK , Kajol.
BB was decent overall despite some OTT moments.
PK was good in the first half but second was just an OMG ripoff.

Kajol is a good actor but there was no spark in her performance in this movie. There is an outburst scene in this movie where she blames Rizvan for everything caused to her son - that was very very OTT and badly executed.

Of course I don't deny bias, but this is how I genuinely think.

Yes, MNIK's lack of praise with the audience compared to the other 2 movies is interesting, especially since it was the first of the three to use the common formula between them. It'd be interesting to hear good theories or arguments about why exactly this is the case.

Got to be MNIK for me because I can relate to it more than I did of PK-BB, SRK was just brilliant.

I agree with your rating in your opening post.
On why MNIK isnt praised...its easy. Its not relatable to Indians the concept of religious and racial bias in the USA. Its a very alien concept for people living in India to relate to what NRIs must be facing. If the story was based out of India it would have done better. PK and BB are easily relatable that way.

I haven't watched OMG, maybe that should be added to the discussion! Did it also use similar plot points of people's hero & journalists as these three movies or was it only similar to PK in whatever happened in the 2nd half?
