I think that budget is for both the parts combined, not just the first part...

How true is this though?? No-offense but you need to back statements like this by solid data.

50 crores on a working days seems too good to be true.

Another thing what was the highest grossing south movie before this?? And how much is the norm for a biggie there?? Also what were the trade expectations??

These aspects will help putting these numbers into perceptive.
