Why did Dil dhadakne do fail/underperform ? - Page 2

It lacked good music

Music is really important for a film to do well... Film might not have a big male star but music needs to be solid
(There have been so many instances this year only that have proved that prescence of megastar can't only uplift film)
IF Music is less popular, WOM needs to be tremendous(like PIKU)


Neither were promotional activities weak
Not were the stars present 'LESS ATTRACTIVE'

It's about packaging, which was incomplete here

Also people saying quality of movie was average/bad makes this their opinion and not a universal one
I loved the film and many other members.. It can't be said to be reason behind films underperformance

I would say PC is the main reason for this film's failure... she has lost it... terrible acting, terrible voice to give in DDD Title song... ppl were bored to death seeing her onscreen.

Who said it's an universal opinion? If many loved it, many found it to be average. Simple. 😆 A movie doesn't underperform Just because of a single factor like music.

It was an average movie...Nothing great about script... Too many characters and plot lines kind of confused people... There was no good locations as well... And Because of so many stars in it, it felt Zoya had to adjust screen time of all of them and which ultimately just made the movie boring... Lastly, the ending was really pathetic and ruined the entire movie for me... ZNMD was a far better movie, better script, better acting and much more fun...

However, I must mention that Anil, Shefali, Priyanka and Ranveer were really good in the movie.. The only fault was with script and direction...Music wasnt so great either.. Some parts of the movie were very funny though... But i guess people preferred TWMR over DDD
