One thing that people have loved in this film is the Bro-Sis chemistry between Ranveer and Priyanka
So relatable, no OTT - perfection

Excacly the chemisty was there and the scenes between the two was in the right amount for a movie where the parents and society are also important. I also think that was one of things that was praised the most. Zoya didnt put unnecessary scenes between the two and it was relatable. I like the way they potrait the scene when Priyanka is crying and Ranveer stands by her side silently and not taking her in his arms. I could relate so much to that scene.

There are 2 specific reasons for its underperformance:

1. Music wiped out 5-10 crs. SEL music was very bad. I learnt you cannot declare anything by just hearing tunes in the trailer.

2. For some unknown reasons, its earning on single screens was dismal from DAY 1. This wiped out 10-15 crs. This was unexpected and hinted on the very 1st day the film will lose around half a crore everyday on its run.

If you add those 25 crs, it reaches a HIT status which was expected by many of us.

The underperformance is not due to stars. The same cast of Ranveer and PC's gunday was a hit..and earned like what DDD going to earn. Are we going to say Gunday was a better movie?

So, please make sound arguments before talking about actors or actresses bringing down the movie... don't talk like a 10 year old kid in forum all the time

Gunday was Semi-Hit, same will be DDD or may be Average, Lifetime is same.

i know but i consider it a HIT because KRK considers it a hit😆. Earned 78 crs and if it had earned 2 crs more, that was the requirement for it to be tagged a Hit.. i mean that's a joke...
