Samantha Ruth Prabhu celebrates Diwali with Raj Nidimoru, fans call it a ‘soft launch’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Diwali post has once again set social media buzzing. The actress, who has been linked to filmmaker Raj Nidimoru for a while now, shared pictures from her festive celebrations that have reignited rumours about their relationship.

The Citadel: Honey Bunny actress took to Instagram to post a carousel of photos from her Diwali evening. Dressed in traditional attire and surrounded by diyas and flowers, Samantha looked content and radiant. Among the images, one particularly caught fans’ attention — a candid shot featuring her alleged boyfriend, The Family Man co-director Raj Nidimoru.

Alongside the pictures, Samantha captioned her post, “Filled with gratitude.” While she didn’t tag Raj or confirm anything directly, the image was enough to get fans talking. Many took to the comments section to express curiosity about the duo’s bond, calling it a “soft launch” of their relationship.

Over the past few months, Samantha and Raj have been spotted together on several occasions — from casual dinner outings to industry gatherings. Although neither has addressed the rumours publicly, their appearances have only strengthened talk of a growing closeness.

Raj Nidimoru, one half of the acclaimed writer-director duo Raj & DK, previously collaborated with Samantha on The Family Man 2, where she played the popular character Raji. Their professional rapport, fans say, seems to have grown into something more personal over time.

On the work front, Samantha recently appeared in a cameo in the Telugu horror-comedy Subham, which also marked her debut as a producer. The film featured a fresh cast including Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, and Shriya Kontham.

She will next be seen in Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, a web series alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. In addition, her Telugu action drama Maa Inti Bangaram is expected to begin production soon.

Industry reports also suggest that Samantha is being considered for Vetrimaaran’s next film Arasan, opposite Silambarasan TR, though an official confirmation is still awaited.
