My aunt showed me this video on youtube of a live 911 call.

A young 16 year old called 911 in a state of panic coz her father had put both she and her sister in a cab, drove someplace remote, and was trying to kill them. Why? Becuase one of the girls had a boyfriend.

It was one of the most disturbing videos of my life, listening that poor little girl screaming and crying and shouting for help saying my father's killing my sister, he's gonna kill me too. You hear gun shots in the background and then silence.

Both girls were killed by the father and he fled.

Sickening to say the least.

Amina and Sarah and right? That was all over the news. Really disturbing.

Yup, such bright futures both had. They were gorgeous young girls.
That man needs to whipped and raped in jail for the rest of his life.

Sick. SICK!

This is just so terrible! I really can't believe people can be so heartless to kill their own flesh and blood all in the name of their so called pride and honor! Children make mistakes and it's the parent's duty to hold their hand in tough times, teach them and support them but not KILL them! And really! Just because the parent gave birth and a life to the child doesn't mean they can snatch that very life from the child. I'm really appalled at the mentality of some people!

OH NO!!!😡😡😡

that's utterly nonsence..

i'm a religious person and i can say that honor killing is NOT religion!!!!!!!!

it's done by those people who think taking the life of an innocent will raise their status in society!!

fcuk such status ,fcuk such society!!!

not only father but the mother and whole family supports that, they are mentally sick people!!!that's the right word

Nobody has the right to decide if someone should live or not.
That's why we as a civilized society have law and order, where there's is an entire procedure which determines crime and punishment.

Who gives one man or woman the right to decide that a child's decision is crime enough to kill?
Hell, MURDERS get the right to a fair trial in society, and a chance to defend themselves.
You're telling me some nutjob has the right to kill their child just coz their actions went against "their honor?"
Bullshit.
If it hurts you so much, then cut the kid outta your life if needs be. You dont pick up a damn gun and end their's.

I know, often times we feel that because we live in America/Canada/UK or anywhere else abroad that we're better off than living in India but that's not the reality. I know for a fact that some women get an abortion if they can find out it's a girl. An aunty actually told my mom this very openly without the slightly trace of guilt or shame. It's so disheartening.

We may think we're better off not living in India but actually this mindset is still hidden within our desi community somewhere.

So these Desi women are aborting girls in the US too?
I thought they would be more broad minded living in such a liberal country where women have so much independence
