Ram Leela is NOT getting banned. Period. This film is doing fantastic business, there is no way in hell, that the industry will let a film that is making pot loads of money get banned. Sentiments might run this country on paper, but it is economics that decide things eventually.

If anything had to happen to it, that would have happened prior to the release...ab film ko BB ban ne se koi nahin rok sakta!😎

Guys, the film is indeed doing 'chappar faad kar business' in Delhi! I have booked a ticket for the 10 Am show tomorrow...Tuesday...when I booked the show on Saturday, it was already half sold and today it is completely sold out!

Tuesday morning show! Can you believe it!😲 And this when, RL is playing in almost every theatre in Delhi!

On top of that, Monday and Tuesday are the busiest days in Delhi for wedding...today there are 3000 weddings in town and yet the film is doing exceptional business here!

@Shreya...I never take IF seriously! There is a particular group of people who try to act cynical and love to run down every single film...sometimes its fun arguing with them or even joining them, but lets face it, every single person on the forum is a fan of some or the other actors. Its just that some are forthright about their favourite actors and some pretend like they don't care. But they do...and that is why they spend hours dissecting and dissing a film, without even watching it once!😆

Deepika will deffo get more talked about for RL...but that is primarily because this film will be her fifth BB in a row...and the fourth one this year! The film was sold on SLB's name and the fact that Deepika had just come out fresh from Chennai Express's super success.

But everyone who has seen the film, including critics and audiences, have all acknowledged that Ranveer is exceptional in the film and its his chemistry with Deepika which has worked wonders.

He will only stand to benefit from RL...if the audience hadn't accepted Ranveer in the film in the role of Ram, do you really think a passionate love story like RL would have worked? A love story can only work when both the leads are equally good and compliment each other...as in the case of RL!

The media will talk about Ranveer too...a lot! Just let the film get a BB / Super-hit tag once.

I don't know about media, they generally salivate after the bigger star, which is Deepika in this case. But I can tell you about public opinion, and they were bowled over by Ranveer's performance. Which matters a lot more. He is one of the finests we have right now.

The only reason why people are making fun of the film is BECAUSE it is doing so well! Most people on the forum simply cannot believe that a film they had all expected to tank at the BO and be slaughtered by the critics, is not just doing exceptionally well but also been hailed critically by the media!

This film is a comeback for SLB into the big league again, Ranveer's head-start towards super-stardom and Deepika's validation of her existing superstar status.

So the film has irked people on not just one, but multiple levels! 😆

Hence, my advice is to just keep calm and enjoy the film's success...just ignore negative posts...if they didn't make any difference in the last two months, why would it make any difference now?

Spot on! Haters are on fire, they just can't accept it, tight slap on all the haters that wanted and hoped that the film would fail, DP's superstardom can not be denied anymore, she can draw people to the box office and they hate the fact that she can also act brilliantly rather than be just a "sexy flowerpot" in the whole movie. and Ranveer is a great actor, he is defo the future superstar.

Okay...I might get lynched on this forum for saying this...but I see Ranveer as the next 'mass' superstar of Bollywood...something on the lines of Salman...but with acting thrown in!😆

I think he has a lot of mass appeal to him...he plays to the audience...he connects to them beautifully...and he has a very approachable and warm persona...plus, its proven that his forte lies in playing roles like Bittu Sharma and Ram Rajjadi, both mass oriented, commercial roles!

I find it ironical, that his complete lack of inhibition was what used to irk me earlier...now it is the same thing that has made me his fan!😊 He is a true slave to his art...he acts for the audience and the camera and not for himself, like many other actors...and that is why he is so exceptionally different from the others!
