I think he has a lot of mass appeal to him...he plays to the audience...he connects to them beautifully...and he has a very approachable and warm persona...plus, its proven that his forte lies in playing roles like Bittu Sharma and Ram Rajjadi, both mass oriented, commercial roles!

I find it ironical, that his complete lack of inhibition was what used to irk me earlier...now it is the same thing that has made me his fan!😊 He is a true slave to his art...he acts for the audience and the camera and not for himself, like many other actors...and that is why he is so exceptionally different from the others!

Totally agree. Many might disagree but I feel ranveer is better than ranbir in terms of acting capability and versatility. I can easily envision ranveer doing a barfi/rockstar but can't imagine ranbir doing a ramleela.
