Madhubala was not known for her ACTING

that was meena kumari

and arguably KAT is prettier than madhubala

Madhubala had a lopsided smile and supposedly non feminine

hands n feet

But KAT in madhubala make up and get up

Ooohhh, blood red lipstick, eyeliner, wavy hair, pale face

Her sharp balanced features with the doe eyes will look awesome

Honestly, both of them need to grow as actors before they go striving for a biopic. A few more years and I wouldn't mind. But Katrina def can't be Madhubala...sorry, if anything I always pictured Madhuri as Madhubala's doppleganger. I hope the movie Gods would listen to me and just make one with Madhuri. 😆

But in hindsight, Madhubala was WAY more expressive and versatile than Meena Kumari could ever be. Not to be disresepctful of their legacies, but Meena Kumari always played the same character and did the same tragic roles. She was no Katherine Hepburn like some make her out to be. But let's be real, Nutan was the real actress and played the most variety of roles for her time.

Katrina can look the part, but she doesn't have the soul to play Madhubala...unless they do a modern day rom-com. She needs to grow as an actress before she partakes this one. Playing a real life figure that is so prominently imprinted in the audiences' hearts and mind is WAY harder than playing a fictional character. She definitely needs time before plunging into this.
