Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in a biopic

The news of filmmaker Anurag Basu making a biopic on Kishore Kumar starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role has been doing rounds for a long time, but the film has not gone on floors yet. Apparently, there was a problem between the team and Kishore Kumar's family. However Anurag Basu denying all such reports said that the project has been delayed because he was awaiting dates from Ranbir.

Now we hear that the Kapoor lad has finally given his dates to Anurag and they will both start working on the biopic very soon. Ranbir Kapoor who is playing the role of Kishore Kumar will be paired with four heroines who will essay the role of Kishore's four wives " Madhubala, Ruma Ghosh, Yogeeta Bali and Leena Chandavarkar. Nothing has been decided yet as to who will play the four female leads in the biopic. Our khabroo tells us that Katrina Kaif, who is currently dating Rockstar dude might be a part of this film.

A while ago, we had reported that Kat has been signed opposite the Kapoor lad in Jagga Jasoos which will also be directed by Anurag Basu? So what does it mean? Do the lovebirds want to work only with each other and no one else? Well, it seems so looking at the current scenario

Kishore Kumar biopic finally set to roll

Since they started their production house Picture Shuru Productions, Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor have frequently been in the news.

Firstly, they launched their maiden film Jagga Jasoos for which they signed Katrina Kaif to play the female lead.

Now, it is heard that the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress would, in all probability, be also part of Basu's biopic on Kishore Kumar that would have Ranbir playing the pivotal role.

Earlier rumours had it that there was a problem between the team and Kishore Kumar's family, but the director has cleared that he couldn't go ahead with the project as he was awaiting dates of Ranbir.

Now that the Rockstar actor has finally given his dates, the biopic is expected to roll soon. It is said that the film will have four heroines, pitted against Ranbir, who will essay the late crooner's four wives Ruma Guha Thakurata, Madhubala, Yogeeta Bali and Leena Chandavarkar.

madhubala's soul will be crying after hearing who is going to portray her on the big-screen...🤣

noone can portray madhubala on-screen...noone at all...anurag should shelve the project...or cast someone who is a powerful actress...madhubala is a known for 2 reasons...her flawless beauty and excellence par excellence acting skills...seriously he is going to make kats being thrashed by the harsh critics...why only kats...even for the other actress who will perform Yogeeta Bali role...i don't know abt the other 2...are they actress?

as for ranbir being KK...he will pull it off with his acting skills...and KK was more into singing than acting...he has to practice it...i can see a best actor for ranbir in this film...if it does well in BO...
